The creature was unlike anything Cruella had ever seen all the days of her life around the pack. It wasn’t a typical werewolf, but something twisted, something darker and Stronger. Its fur was a sickly shade of gray, matted and filthy, and its eyes glowed with an unnatural yellow light. The creature’s fangs gleamed in the moonlight, longer and sharper than any wolf’s she had ever seen, and its claws were stained with the blood of something long dead. Liam’s eyes narrowed, the familiar fire of the Alpha flashing in them. “You’re not welcome here, Raze.”

He added and began to read while I chuckled. “What’s in that...?” I asked him. “It’s a funny myth… Monsters and everything…” He added and I began to laugh while walking around that row when suddenly, I looked at the portion of 15th to 17th century where I found a book on Werewolves. I couldn’t believe that I would ever find a whole book on Werewolves. I quickly walked over to it and grabbed it. The book looked quite old but seemed informative.

Instead, I decided to go to the library that I hadn’t been to yet. I walked in and there was no one there. So people could just go in and take a book if they wanted, but there were tables and chairs, computers and couches set up everywhere. It was actually a really big library for an army base. I started searching through the books until I finally found the ones that I was looking for. The books that had documented white wolves over history. Werewolves were notorious for keeping records and I was glad that they had these books on white wolves.

Most of the pack still looked at me like I didn't belong there. But I was that desperate. The room was small and dusty. Shelves lined the walls, filled with old books and rolled-up papers. Everything smelled like leather and age. I started pulling books down, looking for anything about werewolves. About shifting. About why mine kept stopping halfway. The first few books were about pack law and territory disputes. Boring stuff that didn't help. But then I found ones about bloodlines. About different types of wolves. I read about Feral-Bloods like Axel. About Nightborns and Runebinders. About Pureblood Alphas.

I flipped the second page open and began reading. “After finding his mate and claiming her as his, the alpha moved to make it known under the crimson moon.” Though I had a foggy mind while reading the first sentence, my mind put the words together to make sense. This was a werewolf lore book just like the ones I’ve devoted myself to reading in the last week, but unlike those, this was a children’s book. I snapped it shut, got up, and hurried away from Zion’s room. I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed.

He stomps inside the room, searching for something in the bookshelves. “Why did he let you read that? You should read about the caste system of the pack, as well as the creatures that coexist with us here in the land of humans,” he rants before grabbing a brown leather-bound book and opening it to a specific page. He gives it to me and takes the other book away. “See here? This is about the different supernatural. This part here is specific for the wolves.” “Was there something wrong with the other book?” I ask curiously.

Jacob Boris stared dejectedly at his pack members, all gathered in a circle around him. He knew all their individual stories: from the college student who was Bitten by a rabid changeling, to the young 14-year old who found herself in the dead of night among a gang of werewolves. Hs knew all their stories, had to listen to each and every werewolf in his pack tell the story of how they were changed the moment they joined his pack . It was one of his many roles as an Alpha, his many, challenging, tiring roles.

Afterall, this is the outside world, far from the knowledge he had in the Green Valley! He turn his eyes away to the battle between the white and bloody figure. He already have enough about death, but the death cause by the other living being is something he never have been experience before. Now, he realize his life can also at the hand of the people around him! He remind of his childhood, his friend of a beast that thought of harming him. That time, he hardly realize why something wicked like that is existed. But turns out, the outside world really is makes it possible!

but there's another identity for me which no one knows except me. I write novels under the pen name 'phoenix' My novels are about werewolves attacking humans. Since I don't like werewolves I started writing about them in a bad way to vent out my anger on them. Recently, I've been working on a book named, 'Desire for thirst' in which werewolves attack their prey when they are in rut. My work in this genre has been gaining more exposure because I've made it very clear that I don't like werewolves. I believe people can read this as a novel but in reality the author just wants to expose their readers to the monsters they see in other worlds.
