Even so, the whole process feels like a battle, and I am already exhausted by the time I have the books in my hands. I still read romantic novels. It is the kind of love that feels unshakable, the kind I used to dream about. Now, I am not so sure if that kind of love exists for me anymore.

"You don't strike me as the romance type." I looked at her intently. "Is it one of those raunchy books with shirtless men carrying scabbards on the cover."

I asked, looking down at her. “Yes wait no. I mean no.” Elena answered, shaking her head rapidly looking back up for a few seconds then back down folding the clothes. “Alright then.” I said leaving the topic at that and started to pick up the books and place them in the box. She had a lot of books. Mostly books about romance and a few about dark romance.There were also a few school books about biology, astrophysics, chemistry, physics and engineering etcetera. “Miss Romano.” Elena called out.
