Chapter Three. I looked around my mother’s restaurant in awe. The De Bruyn’s Eats was definitely the most attractive and the most expensive, yet popular restaurant in Blue Stone pack by the time I was leaving for Europe. And here I am, more than four years after, and this place is still full of customers, and obviously the most pocket drying prices— and only the best food anyone around can ask for, I’m sure. Mother has her faults— a lot of them, actually, but this restaurant is something good to admire her for.

Torque slipped onto the left barstool as Hatchett took the right. “Sam, this is Blue, Hatchett, and Torque,” I said, introducing each in turn. My eyebrow arched as Sam studied my face a moment before she grabbed a bottle and started pouring. “Well, aren’t you a sweet talker?” Sam pushed the full shot glass to Blue. “You know, flattery will get you everywhere with me.” “I’m sure it will,” Blue said, lifting his shot glass to her and pounding down the drink. “Why’s there no front door?” Hatchett asked as he grabbed his shot and nudged his head to the bar’s entrance.

What was he in for when he got to the barbershop? ------------------------------ Having done his family duty to tease the shit out of Eddie, Donny started his day while he waited for his new kitchen worker to come in for his first day at his new position. They weren’t fancy here. But the menu at the Blue Moon had become well known for a few things on their menu that people would return for repeatedly. As Donny waited, he prepared fruit, got bacon and oatmeal going. He prepared eggs and toast closer to the time. Hash browns, kippers, bacon, and many other things.

"Yes." I felt amazed when we entered Blueberry Resorts , walking side by side with Arthur Graham. Everything about the hotel spelt luxury. From the blue themed chandelier to the curtains hanging loose on the reception ground The lobby was really fancy, way fancier than I'm used to. I doubt there could be a meal I could afford at this exquisite place. "Want to order anything?" He asked casually, looking up from his phone in a while. "The beef here tastes divine." Feeling a mix of shyness, I smiled in between.

I have a ring picked it out already for when we're both ready for that step but for now the ring that I got him will due. "I like this place" I heard Preston say as we pulled to a stop in front of BlueWater Cafe, one of the best restaurants in Vancouver. I turned the engine off and climbed out and walked works the hood of the car to open his door and he beamed taking hold of my hand and I closed the door behind him once he stood at my side before we made our way up the steps. "Reservations under Storm" I said once we reached the booth where the hostess stood and she nodded before beckoning us to follow her to a private sector of the building making Preston raise a brow but I just smiled.

She was a little stocky in the bust and hips but she had a pretty face, light brown hair, and soft blue eyes. “Welcome to the Fish Tale Tavern,” the waitress said as she sat down a glass of water and a one page menu. “Today is Taco Tuesday.” Ava didn’t want that. She had thawed out ground beef to have tacos for dinner tonight. “I think I’ll try that another time.” “I’ll give you a minute to look over the menu. Do you know what you want to drink?” Surprisingly, Ava immediately had a taste for beer. She couldn’t understand why since she didn’t care much for it the first time. “What kind of beer do you have here?”

"What can I get you?" "Hey, Jackson. Can I have a vodka and lemonade, please? Actually, make that a double, please." "Rough day?" Jackson asks. "Something like that," I reply, anxious to find a seat and blend into the crowd. I pay and manage to find a seat in one of the back booths. Of all the pubs I have visited in London, the Grey Goose is my favourite. It manages to balance Old World charm in its fixtures and fittings with great food and service. And there is always a nice crowd in, which I think is largely down to Jackson's influence. But tonight I am only concentrating on hiding out.

"Listen, I have the item you ordered. Wanna see it?" In the Blue Moon Diner, it was a slow day. Donna was listlessly wiping down the booth that had just left when she saw the black Suburban pass by and park near the tattoo shop. She watched closely to see who got out of the huge SUV and was disappointed when she saw that Blake was alone. She pulled out her mobile phone anyway.

"An escape room wasn't a bad idea, but whatever. I've only had a granola bar today and yeah, I guess dinner sounds fun." He nods, slowing the car as we cruise down a brightly lit street lined with upscale bistros. He points to a place on the far side of the road, a sleek, modern building with blue neon accents and a sign that reads "Blue Anchor." "Do you like seafood?" I grin, the excitement of the night finally bubbling over. "I love it. Especially when someone else is paying." I don't even wait for him to park properly. As soon as the car stops, I hop out, the cool night air hitting my face. I look back at him, feeling more like myself than I have in months.
