I walked into the inner part of the book shop and excused myself after I belched. “This one is Six Thousand Naira”. “If you interrupt mw again, you won’t like what I’ll do to you…” The shopkeeper saw my countenance and left me alone, before going to fetch cellophane bag. He picked up the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records and bagged it, and waited patiently for me to pick another book. I soon picked The Family by Mario Puzo and Carol Gino. I was handing the novel to the shopkeeper, who was already with a calculator, when I saw it. It was a dark hardcover book, with pink and dark designs. I smiled broadly and extracted it from the shelf with both hands.

She found some vegetables, eggs, and noodles to cook her late dinner. “What are you doing?” Lendon suddenly appeared and asked. Kendra was frightened and almost dropped the bowl she was holding. She turned around and saw Lendon leaning against the wall. He crossed his arms on his chest. His hair was missy, but he still looks handsome as usual. “I am hungry, so I want to eat something.” Kendra put her bowl on a table and softly asked him, “Did you have dinner? Do you want to have some noodles?” Lendon looked at the noodles and asked, “Are you sure?” He never ate things like it before. It didn't look nice.

“I eat out most of the time. Nicholas is a great chef and he cooks for me at times too. And ah, did I tell you yet? Nicholas is back. He is my manager again.” “That's good for you,” I said, excited for her truly. “I still don't know what is going on in that little head of his. For now, I'm seeing how it goes. I've done no creepy things just in case you wanna know,” Julia told me. I watched as she filled the pot with enough water. She selected three packs of noodles for us. “Two is enough,” I muttered. “I love noodles. A portion is never enough for me,” Julia replied. After this, there was a brief silence between us.

"It's a good book," he shrugged.

Yuri smiled, "You helped me twice, and I invite you to dinner. It's even, will you not give me this face?" "Don't take it to heart." Boyce said lightly. Yuri curled his lips in his heart, this man was really boring, his expression tone was light from beginning to end, as if there would be no fluctuations. A perfect smile adorned Lyyana's face when she found the noodle maker's location in the book. But again, the smile didn't last long because Lyyana had to reach for the noodle maker placed on the top shelf of the cabinet. "I can get it," Lyyana said, looking for a tool she could use to reach the noodle maker.

Newton Prep had a way of draining you without ever raising its voice. In the past two weeks, I had learned how to do things I never imagined doing back home.
