She had been publicly rejected by the man she wanted. The Alpha King shot to his feet. His heavy chair scraped loudly against the stone floor, making a harsh sound. His face turned a dark purple with a sudden rage. “Shut your mouth, Desmond!” he roared. His voice was like thunder. “Vera is a part of this pack and this alliance whether you like it or not. I am the Alpha, and I will make her your Luna. She is the daughter of a great leader, and she will bring honor to our family name!”

"Ella, hand it over. You're angry, but don't gamble with the entire pack's safety." "I don't have it." I steadied my grip on the suitcase. "Search me if you want." Liam stepped forward to check my luggage. His powerful Alpha aura made me instinctively step back, and he immediately growled, "Why are you backing away? Guilty conscience?" Just then, my adoptive mother Mara pushed through the door, frowning deeply. "What's all this shouting about so early?" "Mom, Ella stole the border treaty and won't admit it." Kane's voice was urgent. "This document is about the ceasefire agreement. Nothing can happen to it!"

Helga sighed hard. “Okay. So what do we do now that you have made Lance Kim mad, huh?” She asked Kevin.

Alpha Kilhan uttered with a chuckle. She stepped out from behind Drex with a large grin on her face. “Nice to meet you.” She said as she approached me, and to my greatest surprise, she planted kisses on my cheeks. I wasn’t expecting that. “Nice to meet you too,” I answered, smiling equally. I loved her too! She seemed like a very nice lady, and she was also very beautiful. “And these are Nelson, Benjamin, and Oliver.” Alpha Kilhan added, walking past them as he spoke. “They are the Gammas.”

Jayden joked, and she slapped the back of his head, making him massage the spot, grimacing. “For what? I’m very friendly, okay.” Maryna assured, and Jayden sighed. “Maryna, North Korea is friendlier than you!” Jayden retorted. She gave a smile that didn’t reach her eyes and said sweetly. “Want to be on my list?” She asked, making Jayden widen his eyes and quickly stand behind me. “You know what? We better go, or we’ll be late! Maryna, thank you very much, and we’ll see you soon in Korea.” Jayden said hurriedly, and I laughed.
