If Phoenix didn’t publish anything new in for a long time, people would think she might have deserted. I took out another big and heavy computer, which could run fast. I typed in the password and entered the desktop. There were few icons on the desktop, but two folders. One was for my electronic design manuscripts while the other was for my novel documents. I build a new document and begin typing. The document was named, “The Rule of Nine of Pillers.” After typing three words, I was immersed in thought. I had the idea of the story, but I just didn’t know how to start it when I was about to write.

Dearest reader, When I first started writing this story, I had no idea what I was stepping into. Dante and Alera’s world began as a whisper in my head. Thier love was a messy, aching kind that demanded to be told and somehow, it became my very first published book on GoodNovel. This journey has been everything but easy. It’s been a learning and humbling curve. I’ve stumbled, grown, rewritten, cried, and smiled through every chapter. But most importantly, I’ve learned that stories have a way of healing not just the characters but the person writing them too.

-The End- ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ I am not really good with epilogues and saying goodbyes to my favourite characters, but I hope someday I will learn and master that superpower. However, to my amazing readers, the success of this story wouldn't have been possible without you guys. To be honest, the idea of writing this novel started out as a funny joke. Just a few dribblings of unedited shitty words and dialogues all over the place, but here we are.

he said. "I know," Dante said. "You said it." "In the first chapter," Elian said. "In the first chapter," Dante said. "The whole novel is there. The rest is — the specific waves." "The specific waves," Elian said, and went back to the bed with the particular energy of someone who had just been told that the first chapter of the deepest novel they would ever write was complete.

The same town that once broke her… was now starting to heal. She opened her notebook. On a blank page, she wrote: Chapter One: Rebuild. Because this wasn’t the end. This was the beginning.

She says. “So, Gabriel, hmm, nice name. Who’s this guy?” I ask. “Well, it all started when we got to the party, and we were sitting at the table. Chelsea got up to get us some drinks, then Tanner left me to go to the bathroom. I was sitting at the table all alone, then this guy comes out of nowhere and approaches me like a gentleman.” “Sounds interesting.” I say. “Trust me it was, we had so much to talk about, he wants to have his own startup Tech company one day.” She says.

He said our separation was just temporary, and we'd have decades to be together. I had believed him wholeheartedly, thinking the brief separation between us was so that we could meet again, both better people. But reality had given me a harsh blow. I realized that just because a relationship started on a good note, it didn't mean it would have a happy ending. But the one thing I was thankful for was the courage to start over. I didn't get stuck in the trap of a broken marriage with Chandler. I had made the decisive choice to divorce him. Maybe in the future, I would fall in love with someone else.

This is where our story ends…and my story begins. ____________ Even before I started this novel, I had this chapter planned out in my head. In a way, this chapter inspired the entire novel.
