Zivah smiled, “Let’s go someplace where we can read and eat and stay for hours.” “The Book Café.” I said excitedly, it was our favourite place to hang out. It was a beautiful café with all junk food available and books kept in shelves and wooden tables and chairs to sit, sort of like a library with food. And it felt amazing just being there, the peace and ambiance. “Oh manh, I can’t come.” I muttered sadly, remembering that the hacking just happened yesterday and there is still no trace of catching the hacker. “I have to go to work.”

ANDRIUS AND BEATRICE entered the dim-lit hall of a certain poet’s bar while holding each other hand. They were welcomed by the brightly colored detailed aesthetics which give life to what seemed like an oversized living room. There were board games, magazines, and books everywhere. A brown-haired guy is reading a poem by Shakespeare on the stage. Some are drinking while listening. Some are reading books and magazines from page to page. Andrius get a glass of wine on the counter while Beatrice, who was a bookworm, picked one book from the shelf.

Chapter 25 Chills down my legs Zima's POV I walked steadily toward the bar across the room, feeling his eyes follow me until I disappeared from his sight. It was tucked neatly to the left side of his chamber. I’d never heard of anyone keeping a full bar in their bedroom, but of course, King Aiden did. Several bottles lined the counter, Martini, whiskey, and a few others I didn’t recognize. My hand trembled as I reached for a bottle of Martini, almost certain I’d drop it.

I exclaimed surprised at seeing books in bars for the first time. "Some books are in bars because they are dangerous," he said. "But some books are not imprisoned, most of them are..." I paused when my eyes skimmed through the shiny title of my favourite book series 'Throne of Glass', "Well, at least my favourite assassin is not behind the bars." Then I realised that we were on a school tour and not a book tour. I turned towards him and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry let's go, I got a little carried away with books."

Daniel finished, pulling out his phone, and started dialing when Barbara said, "Oh, no need to disturb Mr. Thornton with something as small as this. I can handle it. So are you vouching for her?" "Yes, I am." She then went on to ask Daniel a series of questions while I checked out the books they had close to the desk on a rack that spun. I saw a book that reads Protective Custody: The Demon King. Interesting, another fantasy-type story. I picked it up and went back to Daniel's side. They were just finishing up, and Barbara returned Daniel's form of ID. "I would like this to be my first book." I said, looking expectantly at Barbara."

That explains a lot of books brought to their room. "I see that you're into books, no doubt you were accelerated to the 3rd year," Barbie said with a smile. Jucel's thin lips curled into a small, shy smile. Barbie suddenly leaned towards her and the silver-haired young woman leaned back in surprise. Barbie spoke in a hushed voice. "I saw a book that really caught my attention back in your room. It was entitled 'Identifying Witchcraft'. Can you tell me what was that about?" Jucel's eyes widened and Chloe's eyebrows met as she turned her head to the former girl. "Identifying Witchcraft?" she asked, mimicking Barbie's hush voice as she figured out that it was confidential.

Dmitri guided the awe-struck tourist. Then, Dmitri took the tourist to a vintage looking coffee bar on the right, made of reclaimed wood, where soft classical music was playing in the background. "This Book Café is known for its gourmet mochas that are named after books," Dmitri explained the reason behind the christening of the beverages on the menu. "Wow ! I have never heard of such a thing in my life !!" The tourist exclaimed.

Arian's pov The celebration didn't end at the book club room. We moved to the bar to celebrate with drinks and music. The bar was alive that night. Music thumped through the speakers, laughter and chatter swirled all around me. April was to my left, practically bouncing in her seat as she recounted some ridiculous story about Brent tripping over a shelf in the library. Brent groaned and buried his face in his hands. I should’ve been laughing with them. I should’ve been soaking in every bit of this moment, this celebration of finally being free from lies, of being president of the book club again.

Barbara joined them soon after. “Should I drop you off?” Barbara offered. Summer shook her head. She needed to clear her head, and a walk was the best option for that. ~~~~~ As she strolled small snippets, ones that she had hard time remembering last night, came back to her. The attacker had mentioned something about ‘the book’. What book were they referring to? She frowned. Was it the one that she possessed? But what was so special about a tattered book, the contents of which she hadn’t been able to decipher until now. Was it something valuable that she had been keeping?
