Kaithly got hold of the trophy and face him unblinking accused him of creating a special award with her as the recipient. "Kathy dear what an ungrateful woman you are!" James didn't admit or deny her accusations. "Don't you dare call me that! We are not that close. So tell me the truth. " She angrily demanded. " I don't know why you are so angry about. You deserved the award besides it was not name that I am the one who sponsor the award.." He tried to pacify the angry Kaitlyn especially when Gavin and Jelo are within earshot. I sat down and looked around the room, most of the people there were the same as last year, the same businessmen as always. People in the industry tended to be competitive, giving their all to win a crappy award made of cheap metal. I'd been like that for years too. When I received the fourth award, I stopped counting how many I had won. I didn't even have them on display or anything, they were somewhere in the office I hadn't seen yet. Nora had been showing them off for years, reserving spaces for them in specific places in the building. I didn't even know where they were.

As soon as she got up, she was immediately picked up, Peter hugged her body and headed to the bedroom: "Today is a day off, let's exercise a little to get well." Mia regained her senses, and was about to stop him when she received a strong push from the large man that made her scream. When that art award ceremony took place, the lovers both received the award and mentioned it in the ceremony. Peter received the "Best Teen Comic of the Year" and "Artist of the Year" awards with his paintings being auctioned and displayed in the gallery. Mia received the "Novel of the Year" award for many critically acclaimed novels and some were adapted into movies and comics.

"We'd figure it out. But I'm glad we don't have to." The award presentation came after dinner. We were the third category announced, and I felt my heart racing as they read the nominees. "And the Morrison Award for Creative Excellence goes to..." The presenter paused dramatically. "Daniela and Thomas Reid of Reid Creatives." The applause was thunderous. Thomas took my hand as we walked to the stage, and I was grateful for the support because my legs felt unsteady. "This is surreal," I whispered. "This is real," he whispered back. The presenter handed us a crystal award that was heavier than I'd expected.

“It’s quite impressive.” “Oh, you will find our social calendar quite full once word gets around that Dario Santos is finally socializing.” The woman’s eyes sparkled with curiosity barely contained by good manners. Dario’s hand found Ava’s under the table, a silent reminder that she didn’t need to explain herself to anyone. “Ladies and gentlemen,” the emcee announced from the stage, “we’ll now begin our annual awards presentation, recognizing outstanding contributions to our community.” The lights dimmed as a presentation screen descended. Categories ranged from humanitarian efforts to business achievement, each award met with polite applause from the audience.

“For the last two years, I have taken this Award even if I never presented myself. My PA had always, without my consent, put my name on the list. I warned her not to do it anymore, but she went against my words and did as she wanted. My reason for coming out here to receive it was actually to reject it. “Awards are supposed to be earned and not bought. Such a practice only ruins the importance, credibility, and trust. Why do I need an Award that tons of ladies have already paid for? It is not befitting of me to rejoice over a mere trophy, let alone one where the organizers had sold their trust and credibility for pennies and vaginas. “Whatever your name is called, you made a mistake for tryi

“Thank you. I think it’s about to start, let’s go and take our seats.” We all walk to our table, which is one table for everyone. The show begins right after everyone in the hall settles down. The award show is for game programmers and developers all around America. They start off like every typical award show. Different people come on stage and call the nominees and give the winner the award. They have called out a few awards that both Udar and Ismail had nominations in but have not won.

He says. I know what the Aurora Award is. It’s nothing serious at all, it just happens to be the most prestigious awards in history. The one award that creatives work their asses off all year long for. But I still don’t know what that has to do with me. “Okay…?” I ask. “You know what it’s like. Industry giants, the best you have ever encountered. The biggest press coverage…” he continues. I don’t like where this is going at all. He keeps going on and on about how designers and every creative fight for a seat in the front two and whatnot.

“Are you serious about it? Do you really want the award? “Arian, I want the award. Is that too much to ask?” “You're not even a member,” I said as calmly as I could. “So?” He shrugged like it was the most obvious thing in the world. “You are the president, you can bend the rules. You said I could ask for anything and that’s what I want.” My jaw tightened. “It doesn’t work like that.” “Why not?” His tone sharpened. “Because… because there are rules,” I said, standing straight. “The awards are for members who show up, who contribute, who actually read the books, Kael. I can’t just hand it over to you like it’s some pen.”
