STONE HEARTED C.E.O

STONE HEARTED C.E.O

, he said leaning back on the couch. "Let us watch a show", he said. "But you said you wanted to watch highlights", I reminded him. "I was trying to draw a reaction", he said. "You are something Kyle", I said. He deserves full marks on honesty. "I will put on a show. Let us watch game of thrones. Have you seen it?", he asked me. "No", I told him. "Fine. Let us remedy that", he said. "Is it exciting?", I asked him. "Yes. Kings, battles and dragons", he said to me.

A Game Of Revenge

A Game Of Revenge

My heart skipped a beat when he put his hands on the wall and leaned close to me, ripping my strength to replace it with his intoxication. "Miss Beth." He whispered huskily, completing his sentence, moving his face so close to mine. I shuddered as I could feel his malicious plans under my fingernails, stirring my mind. "What game?" I asked in a whisper, not liking this at all but his offer was too good to resist. He let out a low yet dark chuckle and moved to my neck and spoke up in a whisper, "For the next ten minutes, I will seduce you and if the word 'Please' escaped your lips. You lose."

A Game of Seduction

A Game of Seduction

After a whole night of arguing, I was tired. The only progress I made was that I had finally clarified everything with Samuel. The air was filled with the scent of freedom, and even the sky seemed to have cleared up. However, I could feel Jason's body stiffen a little. "I can explain why I took part in this game." Jason seemed to have made up his mind. But I interrupted him. "I knew about it a long time ago. I didn't find out from your phone. I'm just… tired. I don't care that you joined the game, so don't worry about it."

A Marriage of Swords

A Marriage of Swords

"The tiltyard. An hour before dawn." Without another word, she collected the swords and walked past him, her stride eating up the garden path. He didn't turn to watch her go. He stood in the mist, feeling the residual warmth of her grip on the sword hilt, and the unsettling sense that the carefully ordered chessboard of his life had just been swept clean, replaced by a game with rules he did not yet know. --- The "old tiltyard" was a forgotten rectangle of packed earth between the mossy back of the armory and the high, blank wall of the monastery. Weeds pushed through the cracks in the viewing stands. It smelled of damp stone, old hay, and solitude.

BLOODY THRONE

BLOODY THRONE

“Is that what this has all been about? You disrupted my wedding and kidnapped me, bringing me here so you could feel important and rub it in my face that you killed my family.” Sergio didn’t speak. “You let me believe I was nothing. Then you chained me to your side, gave me knives, maps, riddles... like I was a pawn in some twisted game.” He finally stepped forward. “You are simply here as payment for a debt owed to my family... You were never a pawn I chose.” “Then what am I?” she asked bitterly. He looked at her sadly. “You're the queen that was never meant to rise.” ************************************************** Suddenly, the manor’s alarm pierced the quiet.

A GAME OF LIES

A GAME OF LIES

Queens in a chess game where men thought themselves kings. Amira sipped the champagne a waiter placed in her hand, letting her eyes sweep the room. Every interaction was laced with double meaning. A touch on the arm, a whispered word, a glance held too long. Alliances and betrayals danced in the air, hidden beneath the guise of polite society. Montez placed a hand on her back, guiding her deeper into the crowd. His touch burned through the silk, possessive and unyielding. She stiffened, whispering sharply, “Don’t touch me.”

Throne

Throne

Weeping Willow was a vampire dominated city, almost everyone was a vampire. Human settlements were really few due to the lack of communication with the outside world. It was wanted that way so that we could survive without worrying about the human government. It was the same way in every state and country, there was always a vampire territory for our kind. In Sydney it was Weeping Willow for us, the high order had given it to us. Yes there were lycans in weeping willow but they stayed just beyond the Crescent forest, the forest that served as fortress to us in case of emergency. I lived in the slums of weeping willow, a small village just before the Crescent forest named after the forest. Cr

The Games of the Heart

The Games of the Heart

The sharp, tangy scent of metal fills my nostrils, sending a shiver of exhilaration down my spine. My body moves on autopilot, years of street fights and mob wars kicking in as I dodge and weave, my gun barking with deadly precision. One by one, the suits fall, their bodies hitting the ground with dull thuds. But my victory is short-lived as more goons pour through the door like rats from a sinking ship.

Awesome! This is the second book I’ve read from this author and it is outstanding! Love this family and their story. Wonderful storyline, written well, held my interest, strong characters, not drawn out and just an amazing love story. Adding you to my favorite list author. Will be reading more.

I loved this book. The grammar and English were great. I’ve partly read and quit several books on there that were literally unreadable. I got a little confused on Andrea’s family not knowing Stefano but it was explained later.

Throne of Gods

Throne of Gods

And still yet, that remains the least confusing thing, as what is, is the finding of the stake of Adonis, which was used to kill King Orrin. So many questions left unanswered, because yet, I never expected the Lord of the heavens to let such happen, without giving us any kind of sign. Still yet still, it is still a sign from him that each and every God he created is now in danger, meaning a new supernatural has risen, or it could be a supernatural who has always been there.

Her Game; His Obsession

Her Game; His Obsession

I pulled it out, hoping it wasn’t Jonathan checking on me, because I couldn’t talk to him right now. It was a text from an unknown number. Enjoying your morning? This is just the beginning. …D My hands started shaking again. I threw the phone across the room, not caring where it landed. Then I curled up on my bed, still clutching the pillow, and tried to figure out what the hell I was going to do. Because one thing was clear…Daniel was playing a game. And he was enjoying being a psychopath if bastard. I must have fallen asleep at some point because I woke up hours later to my phone ringing.
