I asked. Why was everyone acting like they’d never seen games before? It’s as if they were kids talking about a birthday party coming up. “Games are just a nickname for f*cked up pranks and activities. They spin the ‘wheel of fortune’ and whatever it lands on, that’s the event for the night. For example, if it lands on ‘games of chance’, then they’ll play something like bingo or roulette. If they decide on bingo, the spectators write up a bingo chart for the players to do.” Leilani replied.

I had thought I would calmly expose his lies, but my body couldn't help but tremble as I spoke. "You disgust me! Since that's the case, I'm done playing this game. Go, be happy with her." Shane didn't expect me to know the truth, and he couldn't even form a proper sentence. "W-What do you mean, you're done playing this game?" "I'll leave this world. I won't appear in front of you anymore." A trace of panic appeared on Shane's face. He clenched his fists, but with so many people around, he still forced a smile. "That's got to be a bluff! Your mission's not complete yet, so your sister will die!"

Alice teased me, bumping her hips with mine and I just shook my head at him. "Shut it." By noon, we were called by the game master for the game of the day and I know it will be something physical. "Today's game is called 'Don't Push Me, Ex'." Just as he spoke, the curtain covering the pool area opened and we reacted differently when we saw the setting. The pool had two floating platforms opposite each other. On the floor, inflated bodysuits of different cartoon characters can be seen as well as big cotton buds-like weapons.

Zephyra glares at him, her pink lips pouting as her blue eyes shoot daggers from across the table. “Just like in previous games, our actions will be scored by the other 6 Legacies based on a simple point system. The winner at the end of the year gets to plan the game for our next legacy council, keys to the legacy villa in St. Martin, and the 1 million dollar scholarship to whichever university they want. Any questions?” Everyone around the table nods in agreement. Not a single hand is raised to question this decision. I shuffle the cards one last time and set them one by one around the table. Once I’m seated, we all flip our cards.

Don’t be so impatient. Lowe: Fine, add them. I’m eating, brb. Kenzie: I hope you choke, B-) Kenzie added Chandler, Owen, and 3 others. Knight: What’s this? Kenzie: Obviously, it’s a group chat. Knight: Idiot. I mean, what’s it for? Kenzie set his own nickname to Kenzie Pogi :-) Kenzie Pogi: Guys, let’s use this chat, okay? It’s challenging to contact each of you individually. You never reply. It must be a pleasure to be famous, right?

The air is thick with the scent of desperation and greed. The room is a den of vice, with round tables scattered about, each one a battleground for high-stakes games of poker and blackjack. The green felt is worn and stained, a testament to the countless nights of excess. Stacks of cash and chips tower above the players, their faces set in determined lines, their eyes fixed on the prize. The chandelier above casts a yellowish glow, highlighting the tension etched on their faces. I spot my contact, a man, only a few years older than me, with umber skin and hazel brown eyes, his tattoos on full display.

> _*]:min-w-0 gap-3"> He couldn't fathom how the great Santos Khyle, supposed famed high scorer, could possibly be as inept at pool as he seemed to be. People at their caliber, with their sharp reflexes, heightened senses, and natural athleticism, tended to excel at sports in general. But Khyle sucked. In fact, he sucked so spectacularly that Gunner had conceded to let him have a freebie shot every time he missed. As would be expected, Khyle being a man with degrees of pride that Gunner was beginning to get a handle on, it did not go down well. But after one round of the torturous game on even ground, Khyle ate crow and took the deal, and allowed Gunner to rack them up again. _*]:min-w-0 gap

At one point, Montez leaned subtly toward her, his lips brushing her ear as he whispered, “Why does he look at you like that?” Her breath caught. “You’re imagining things.” But Montez’s hand tightened over hers beneath the table, his suspicion unrelenting. Yanov raised his glass. “To partnerships,” he said. “Old and new.” Crystal clinked around the table. But when Yanov’s gaze locked with Amira’s across the rim of his glass, the message in his eyes was unmistakable. Amira’s stomach knotted as she forced herself to sip her wine. They were bound by a secret past that should never come to light. The most dangerous game had just begun.

I have read a lot of novels where highschool student trys to play a game at a party but disaster always happen after that. I won't be a part of this game, i rather watch and entertain myself. I saw Kelly smiling already... "Is it truth or dare?" Kelly asked the girl "No! Is a new game...is called paper spreading...we use to play the game a lot in my former school. Don't worry; it will be fun." She said and smiled "Then let's play the game, the guy i saw her kissing earlier spoke. " who is in?
