Chapter 29 The elevator doors hissed open, revealing a sanctuary of power and refined taste. Michael O'Connor's new office was a masterclass in understated opulence. It wasn't about shouting wealth, but whispering sophistication. He walked into the office, a proud smile on his face with what he has done with the interior part of his office. The walls were clad in textured silk, a subtle dove grey that shifted with the light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, offering a panoramic vista of the city skyline, a breathtaking tableau of his empire.

After a brief tour, they stopped at the design floor. "So, where’s my cubicle?" Willow asked, looking at the rows of workstations. "You don't have a cubicle, Willow," Liza smiled.
