I bring my knees up, wrapping my arms around my legs as I rest the side of my face on my knees. "Done?" "Hmm" I reply and he turns, grabbing a shampoo from the small shelf containing bottle of shampoos and bathing essentials. Kneeling beside me on the bathroom floor, I watch as he squirts a good amount of shampoo on his hand. I catch a whiff of the scent. It smelt like coconut. Just like Enzo. Probably it's his shampoo. "I'm gonna wash your hair now, princessa yeah?" He asks, smearing the cool liquid into my hair.

She wasn't really the type of person that kept friends or get close to them, but Hailey had been one of her many first, and she was glad she was the one she was changing for. “Oh, I need to wash my hair as well!” she said as she removed the band holding her hair in place and she couldn't smell her shampoo in there anymore. She loved her shampoo; a fruity smelly one she had gotten from a discount sale at the mall. It was a very nice shampoo, and she had always wanted to smell it in her hair all the time. It was also how she knew when to wash her hair, as soon as the smell from the shampoo had faded.

Doona handed them to the old woman one by one while wearing a big warm smile on her face. "The brand I want is also hyperallergenic." The woman turned her nose up in disdain. Doona rolled her eyes and thought, this old crow is just being difficult. If she wanted proper pet shampoo, she should go to a pet store, this is a grocery store. "Did you mean hypoallergenic?" Doona smiled and looked up to see Chihun was covering his mouth and giggling. Keep laughing asshole, I am doing your damn job, Doona thought.

With a grin, I nod, completely basking in the hot water and all the ‘pain’ in my body begins to ease up and I can balance out without my legs shaking with fury. I turn away and begin wetting my hair and the rest of my body so I can easily lather it all up with some soap. But as I’m about to turn to the built-in shelf with all of Maddox’s witch-made soaps that are supposed to help you with all sorts of things: sleep, stress, smooth skin, clear skin etc. I can feel his hands wrap up in my hair, gently massaging my scalp with a lemon-coconut-scented shampoo. Once he’s done and I’ve rinsed, I whip around and grab one of his shampoos- the one that I think makes him smell the best.

But he remembered that they still had not had that conversation; it was best he left her alone for now. Rose was having the time of her life in the shower. It felt good to feel the hot water run down her body without having to worry about the bill getting too high. She had checked out the collection of soaps and shampoo, none had been familiar, so she had randomly picked and was very satisfied with her choice. The soap was purple and shaped like a teardrop, she could not pronounce the name because it was not in English but it smelled really great; it was like using a garden of roses to scrub her body. Then the shampoo smelt like strawberries and was already doing wonders for her hair.

It was small for me, but when he was with me, it seemed like it was already small in the first place. "This tent is too small for us. Tomorrow, we will buy something bigger," he mumbled. He inhaled my hair. “What shampoo did you use?” he asked, completely oblivious to what he had done. Like what the fuck? Was I not worth it to bear his mark? Will the night end without his seed inside my womb and mark on my neck? Helena whimpered inside me. “Just an anti-dandruff shampoo with mint.” “Tell me the brand and I will buy it.”

Take care, what a joke. I stay in the bath till the water turns cold. I get out of it, pulling the plug the get the water out and head towards the shower to get the salt off my body and wash my hair. The shampoo smells... exotic. It’s refreshing to use some nice smelling product after all these years of having to wash my hair with a male shampoo. I always smelled like a guy afterwards. Being the only female fighter, and the best one at the same time, apparently didn’t earn me the privilege to be treated differently.

There were small burns around my throat, but nothing that I suspected wouldn't heal eventually. Stepping into the shower, I grinned at the bottles lining the shelf, my shampoo and conditioner; I had used this since I was a kid, and I loved how it smelt. I guess they had been to my apartment and got them when they got the rest of my things. Running my finger over the cap, though, I paused, seeing them still sealed. "They are new!" I whispered, my brain buzzing. "And?" Ava laughed, itching for me to step under the hot spray so the heat could ease our achy bones.

A sweet lemon scent hit my nose and I opened my eyes to stare at the green liquid substance in my hands. "What is this?" I wondered. I lifted it to my nose to smell it more. "Shampoo-" He let go of me and turned his back to me. "I sent the maids away so you can be comfortable. But now it's an inconvenience. Get on with it." I hesitated for a moment before I applied the shampoo on his jet black hair. His hair was smooth and soft to the touch and the shampoo foamed easily. Soon I was massaging his scalp with the tip of my fingers and he was resting in front of me.

“And she was my best friend, We’ve been inseparable Since middle school. We’ve braided each other’s hair,got into trouble together. I helped her hide her chin filler. I took her to Planned Parenthood in my mom’s car, for Christ’s sake!” “Okay, she’s trash,” the girl said, walking over and wrapping an arm around my shoulder like we’d known each other since birth. “What’s your name?” “Zoella.” “I’m Lani. And Zoella, you are hot, heartbroken, and entirely too pretty to be crying over a man who probably uses 3-in-1 shampoo.” I burst out laughing again, tears streaming but amused ones this time. “He does. It’s the worst-smelling bottle. It says shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. All in one!”
