“Perhaps it was because I encountered films and books in that genre around that age,” she paused before adding, “I just got used to writing it, so I kept going.”
“You’ve consistently written in that genre all these years. You might disagree with this, but creativity requires constant innovation. Sticking solely to what you’re comfortable with—staying within your comfort zone without pushing boundaries—essentially means treading water… or even regressing.”
