From a young age, I have always dreamed of writing a book that people all over the world would want to read. I once heard someone say, "If you are a writer and people don’t read your books, then you have written a journal." This quote stuck with me and made me realize that the real goal of writing is to create something that others want to read and enjoy.

Jane felt as if her brain had been deep-fried. "So where are you at with A Tale of Two Cities?" Lucy asked to fill the silence. "I'm getting to 150 pages now," Jane said. "What are you reading for your book report?" "Oh, I'm reading The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde," Lucy said proudly. "I love Oscar Wilde. So many lines to live by. In the first place why didn't you dodge with your strength! ” The debate got heated and heated until it made the old man forced to mediate between these two people.

This novel is a work of fiction, yet it is intended to encourage readers. I'm sorry if this novel offended anyone, and I'm pleased if you like it. Then he looked back at me, "Oh." I chuckled, "Yeah." "F. Scott Fitzgerald." He started walking, "Very beautiful quote, that is." "I didn't think you'd know that it was from him." I walked beside him. "Are you secretly a lover of literature, Dean Ryan?" "Not really." He chuckled softly. "I just know a couple quotes." "Wow." I smiled. "Like?" "Um," He thought. "You can't blame gravity for falling in love." "Albert Einstein." I said and he nodded. "I'm impressed."

A sly grunt like a silly laugh escaped my lips as I read the malicious lines, most writers were perfect at preaching fallacies. Boring. Hypocrite. I'm not sure the perfect word to describe what those phrases actually meant. I read the lines again, somewhere in my head, my eyes studying the calligraphy on paper. I frowned. Stupid quote. My hands touched the words, and I tore out the page. Rumpling it and tusking it into the waste bin by the door.

“Because I want to be your friend, and I’m not taking no for an answer.” I had a feeling he wasn’t going to listen to me no matter how much I argued, and there were only 10 more minutes before my next class. “What nonsense were you talking about earlier?” I asked. He frowned. “It’s a quote from the book.” He pointed at my book. “How many times have you read this that you memorized quotes like that?” I asked in pure shock. I didn’t ever remember him reading back in high school and he still didn’t strike me as the illiterate type.

I stepped toward her and set my hand on her waist before murmuring, “We make ourselves rich by making our wants few.” Her lips parted as if that was the most profound thing she’d ever heard. And it might’ve been, since it had originally come from the lips of Henry David Thoreau. Which was why I couldn’t continue to take credit for it. I pointed past her toward the wall with my free hand. “At least that’s what Thoreau says.” She glanced back to find the quote printed and framed above the desk. “Oh.” Scowling, she whirled back to poke me in the gut. “You cheated. That’s a cheater’s answer.”
