It was cute that Zach was a fan of his books. After finishing one book, he dried off his hair and changed for bed. He didn’t know Zach enough to guess what the intern was doing at the moment. It was probably something that optimistic and happy people did. He picked out another book and read through it. For the first time he noticed how many of his protagonists came from broken families. It was no wonder he had written them that way. He had never written any characters to have the exact same family pasts as him, but he could now see the influences.
