1001 Dark Tales

1001 Dark Tales

Now let's talk about my other books. Nightmare Land is not changing, but I am re-editing the first 18 chapters, which I will try to finish as soon as I can. Again, I will try to get the re-edits out with a new chapter, so just bear with me. Not only that, but I'm trying to add on a new book called Dark Tales of the Alive Undead. I have received no response about that either, but I'm waiting for an entire week to see if my editor will respond. I know they say to wait a whole month for new books, but this is also about my other books.

I only hoped that she’d forgive me for not telling her about him before then. Nora’s eyes glistened with enthusiasm. “I’m so excited about moving into that place that, even if there were ghosts, I’d still move in there. I mean… it’s a mansion. Who wouldn’t want to move into a mansion?” “Even a haunted one?” I asked. Her face grew serious. “Don’t tease me. It’s not funny.” The doorbell announced the arrival of the movers and all conversation about haunted mansions came to an instant halt.

Daddy’s Good Girl

Daddy’s Good Girl

Something creaked somewhere in the mansion, and I curled tighter on the sofa, terrified down to my bones. During the day, the mansion looked amazing, like a happy go lucky kind of place, at night, all the stories I read about haunted manors came rushing back. A bit childish, but who needs a house this big for two people to live in anyway?

MINE TO CLAIM

MINE TO CLAIM

The haunted house had taken root in Greystone Manor, an aging mansion on the outskirts of Velmora’s East District, complete with towers, gables, and enough architectural drama to look really creepy even in broad daylight. “Last chance to back out,” Rohan said as they approached the entrance. “Are you kidding? I have been looking forward to seeing the unflappable Rohan Marquez jump at fake monsters.” “Who says I’m going to jump?” “Everyone jumps in haunted houses. It’s scientifically impossible not to.”

Entangled with the Lycans of Pawxlore High

ALYSSA Sneaking out is easy but climbing back in is a problem when you’re living in a packhouse like mine. The packhouse is the biggest building in Moonfall—but I can confidently say it isn’t the biggest everywhere, when it’s barely even a mansion. It’s a well-lit cream home that every modern couple in the stories aspires to have their children in… until they later find out that it’s haunted. ‘I did say that you’ve been reading way too many horror books.’

The Vampire Chronicles

The Vampire Chronicles

"Just hold my hands, I promise I'll take care of you" "Whatever" I glared at her before walking slowly behind her to the haunted house. "Just hold my hand" Eva instructed as we walked into the house along with five other people. Along the way, nothing really scary turned up. I jumped a little when a man in blood suddenly came into view. One of the girls with us ran out of the house screaming aloud, scared. "I told you it really isn't that scary," Eva said. "Whatever" I replied, groaning. "This haunted house is really boring" A guy grumbled, probably not feeling the moody atmosphere like most of us.

So You Think Your Sister's a Vampire?

So You Think Your Sister's a Vampire?

She folded her arms against her chest. “It’s only dressed as a haunted house at Halloween,” Christian clarified. “Oh, good,” Meagan sighed. “But it’s one of the most haunted places in the world,” Christian continued, a devious twinkle in his eyes that made me shiver a little bit, and I wasn’t even there. “Oh, crap,” Meagan said, returning to her former disposition. “You hunt Vampires for a living, Meag,” Aurora reminded her. “How can you possibly be scared of ghosts?”

Rude Awakenings

“It’s just through here.” Swinging open the door, Kate stepped aside, allowing Georgia to slowly shuffle into the spare bedroom. Red, swollen eyes drifted around the room, taking in the fluffy, black comforter thrown atop the twin bed, the antique lamp inherited from Kate’s grandmother centered on the mahogany nightstand and the small, hexagonal mirrors positioned above the gray headboard. Chewing her lower lip, Georgia stepped toward the neatly-organized bookshelf nestled in the corner, a pink acrylic nail brushing along the spine of one of the books. “The Haunting of Hill House,” she mumbled, nodding her head in approval. “Like the show?”

This was so good. The main characters were properly fleshed out and I ended up loving Paloma. Colton essentially being a redeemable bum in need of therapy and stability was super realistic. Everyone having regular jobs was a breath of fresh air. The sex has you wishing you could be Kate. Solid read

Definitely one of my favorites, love the journey to love for Colton and Kate. They feel so real and it’s a roller coaster of emotions, with a psycho stalker for more thrills. Not sure why it’s broken into 2 books but reading back to back still flows. Thank you, author!!

Beyond The Hallow Grave: Editingle Indie House Anthology (Ed

If you ask me, that's a good thing, and I would know a thing or two about preserving youth. 4. The haunted houses of New York ranged from cheesy to genuinely upsetting, and it was clear that Maddie loved every last second of it. We spent the next few hours facing down zombies, werewolves, and seemingly endless killer clowns in building after building. Making our way through mazes and ducking into crawl spaces to escape pursuing nightmares. Somewhere along the line, we found ourselves back in the van, driving beyond the confines of the city into the relative quiet of the suburbs, seeking even more thrills.

Bullied By The Wolf Prince

"He swindled you!" She screeched. "Why do you say that?" Mum wondered. "That house is haunted. No one has been able to live there since Nana Baker died there over a hundred years ago." "Really?" I drawled in a bored voice. That was the latest excuse ever. "Yes, really! No one has been able to live in that house longer than three nights. They either run away, run mad or die." She related with petrified eyes.
