’ Gideon asks, his wolf nudges a small shelf lined with books that all look handwritten, the pages are yellowing telling me it's old and when I pick up one of the copies I find the pages greasey like it's been handled too many times. ‘The Holy Bible: How God wants a pure world.’ I read for Gideon; it's hard to keep the disgust out of my voice, of course God has been dragged into this. Look at any point in human history and you will find religion as the reason why men hurt others. I holster my gun; knowing Gideon is standing guard allows me to flick through the Bible without care for my surroundings. The first page is all about how God created the world, nothing I haven’t read in an old Bible

she asked as Ruth poured her a cup of tea. "People do it all the time, we won't be the first?" Cassandra commented "Cassandra, we are not talking about the movie. This is real life," Mrs Brown raised "Yeah, we will be fine, miracles happen," Cassandra said with a smile "Look at it this way, according to the holy book, Jesus died and rose again from the dead and there was another man, Lazilus?" she said and raised an eyebrow trying to recall the name "Close enough. That is what happens when you do go to church or read your Bible. I believe you are talking about Lazarus," Ruth corrected

, David said, “a passage from the Bible that no one has told him. Perhaps he’s confusing visions or memories of his previous life with dreams, he couldn’t know exactly, the truth is I recognize he has surprised me, and I only just met him today. That’s why I can tell you he is a special being, perhaps not the same Jesus of Nazareth of more than two thousand years ago, but someone very similar who can do great things if he is guided in the right way.” “Wow! It’s good to hear all that.” Karen was surprised to hear all that from a stranger. “I guess I’ve missed a lot of things, I wish I could make up for lost time.” Hansen looked at David thoughtfully. That man who spent the whole day defending

“The world changed with the coming of Jesus of Nazareth, doctor, to the point that human history was divided in two and that was accepted by all people and all religions. Jesus was the only direct descendant of a God who has stepped on this world; neither Muhammad, nor Buddha, nor any other representative of those other religions you speak of have been the direct children of a god, and for that reason they haven’t dominated the world as much as Christianity.” “I think that you and all those who follow you need to know more about religions ... Many secret societies, brotherhoods, religious groups or cults throughout history have tried to conquer or dominate the world without success. Some hav

First I thank God for the opportunities he gave me to write this book, my family for being patient with me and you who have read and followed the book so far, I thank the platform for the space and for accepting my book, this is my first novel, I know I don't master it very well, but this book was inspired by a joke when I moved house, Our neighbor had a ferocious sense of humor, but in the end it was just that, well I don't talk about religion in the book, but I'm a Christian so that's why this novel is light in terms of spicy scenes, I know that many like it, but there are also those who don't, so this book is for both, because there's so much tragedy that there's no time left RS. I needed

If she learned that Scarlet were truly gone, she didn’t know if she’d have the strength to carry on. Caitlin felt the Star of David burning in her hand, and thought again of where they were going. She wished she knew more about the life of Jesus; she wished she had read the Bible more carefully growing up. She tried to remember, but all she really knew were the basics: Jesus had lived in four places: Bethlehem, Nazareth, Capernaum, and Jerusalem. They had just left Nazareth, and were on the way to Capernaum now.

" Do you remember the Christain novel written by The young sixteen-year-old writer, Queenebunoluwa15? " " You mean, Caged: Survival? " " Yes... The novel talked about a sixteen-year-old final year high school Student who got kidnapped by some set of bandits along with her schoolmates... " " At first, I was wondering why she who was a devoted Christian would be kidnapped too... " " Same here's... That proves that being a Christian doesn't completely protect you from being kidnapped along with the unbelievers... " " Yeah... But her being kidnapped Happened for a better reason. "

Not enough sex and violence to get a book deal. Even Christianity has the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Although I’ve always felt the Holy Ghost didn’t get much of a look in. You’d think he’d at least get his own book in the New Testament. The Adventures of the Holy Ghost. I’d read it. Would prefer it as a graphic novel where he solves crimes, obviously. “We are all one. Including the one you call Joshaya.” “Then why did you leave him out there?” I felt I was finally getting to some answers.

Uju dropped the book, folded her hands and asked, "What is the name of the first century historian who wrote about Jesus? I think his work is the only known non-religious account of Jesus." "Non-religious account of Jesus? There are a lot of non religious accounts of Jesus." "His own is very prominent. The only verifiable proof based on his popularity that time. Since you are too ashamed to admit that you don't know him, I am going to tell you his name. Josephus is his name. He is the first century historian who wrote about Jesus." "That is ridiculous," Maria sniffed. "I am going to pass and ignore your comment. Meanwhile, you can ask me another question if you are still planning on shaming

Murmurs spread around the room so Annie waited until they went quiet while she organised her thoughts. “Well, a few months ago an American author wrote a novel,” she started, holding up her copy of the Da Vinci Code, “It’s about a Professor who follows a series of clues to find the location of the Holy Grail, which in human mythology is usually depicted as a vessel or a cup of some kind, the cup that Christ drank from at the last supper. Except in this novel, the author puts forward a strong argument that the vessel is actually a person, a woman, and this woman was married to and carried the child of their Christ, Jesus, who up until this point, as far as modern humans were led to believe, w
