A Fated Mishap with the Silver Wolf

A Fated Mishap with the Silver Wolf

It was only something that happened in my romance novels, I reminded myself. “I know it comes as a surprise, Yen, that someone could fall head over heels in love with you so quickly," Nikolai started, saying the quite parts out loud. "I know it isn’t something that usually happens.” “It doesn’t happen.” I snapped out of my daze, gently extracting my hand from his, knowing his touch would continue to distract me. I was so torn. I didn’t know what to do. I wanted to run as far away as possible because how could someone love so quickly? I knew there were true love stories out there that defied all odds, but I just didn’t believe it could happen to me.

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

Bound by Fortune :A Scandalous Heir Billionaire Romance

Flawed, stubborn, and often their own worst enemies, they're survivors of the empires they built, both around and within themselves. This story was born out of one single, haunting question: Can a love born in secrecy survive the relentless glare of wealth, pride, and public scandal? Through the growth of Davidson from ambitious protégé to self-assured partner, and Joe's from lonely monarch to legacy-bestower, I learned that the most powerful love stories actually do not always whisper in candlelit rooms; sometimes they roar in boardrooms, bleed across newspaper headlines, and remain in the quiet, steadfast lull of two people who have chosen each other against all odds.

When love lies

When love lies

She looks so fragile in that moment. So this is what he likes? My eyes snap to hers. The look in her eyes says otherwise. Love? “I’m not sure you’re capable of that, Sharon,” I say. “You only know how to love yourself.” Silence settles between us. Cold. Final. “We’re over,” I say, pulling the ring off my finger and throwing it at him. I pick up my purse. My luggage. And walk toward the door. “You’re unlovable, Anastasia,” Tristian says behind me. “Men don’t like women like you.”

Love or Lust

Love or Lust

I watched her sit at a table by the window, alone, spreading textbooks across the surface like she was building a fortress. She stared at the same page for ten minutes without turning it. I wanted to sit across from her, take her hand and tell her everything. I wanted to explain about my father and the scholarship and the choice I had to make. I wanted to beg her to understand. But I couldn't. Because if I told her, she would try to fix it. She would offer to give up the scholarship, to fight my father, to do something reckless and noble, which was exactly why I fell in love with her.

Before love Lies

Before love Lies

I destroyed everything. My father’s plans. My future. The arrangement that was supposed to secure power, wealth, protection. All of it… gone. Because of one night. Because I let myself feel something I was never supposed to. Because I chose him. Even if it was only for a moment. ⸻ But here’s the truth I can’t run from— John is the only man I’ve ever loved. The only one I ever will. And no matter how far I go… No matter how much I try to erase him…

When love lies

When love lies

We’d talk late into the night, sipping bourbon by the fireplace, like two men trying to understand life before it ended. One night, after a few too many drinks, I asked him, “You ever been in love?” He smiled like he’d seen a ghost. “I think I have.” I laughed. “Good. Don’t lose it. Ever. I lost mine. And I’ve never recovered.” He leaned closer, genuinely curious. “What happened?” I stared into the fire. “She was. everything. Wild and soft. Brave and complicated. We made vows, blood ones.” My voice cracked. “I let her go because I was a coward in a world built on control. But I never stopped dreaming about her. Every damn night. I see her eyes.”

Love and Missiles

Love and Missiles

Claire paused, shuddering as she said, "It's over between me and Stan Gosling. I didn't keep his baby either… So can't we just start over? I promised I won't ever hurt you anymore…" All I felt was exasperation. "So, you came looking for me because you realized no one's bothered to take your crap?" "No! I really love you!" Claire cried even harder. "Don't you remember?! You promised that you'd always stay with me back at university…" "I do," I replied calmly. "I also remembered working overnight just to bake a cake for you, only for you to hand it off to Stan. "I also remember that time I felt like I could die from a high fever, but you told me you're busy shopping for new clothes with Stan.

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

So, she chooses to be with the second love interest, the one who has always loved her, instead. "But once he has her, the guy would stop cherishing the protagonist. Some even go so far as to say they'd die for her. Yet, after getting together with her, they still betray her. "As society progresses, the plots of these novels become more and more realistic. All that deep affection and unwavering devotion are idealized in romance novels. In real life, there's no such thing as true love. There's also no such thing as a perfectly devoted second love interest."

A love life

A love life

We would need a hundred words where we have only one, this little word of love that is good for everything and suitable for nothing, this verb to love that hangs out everywhere, that goes for everything, the love of God, love men, self-love, love of others, and I love my mother, and I love my husband, and I love my daughter, and I love my dog (and the more I watch the man , the more I love my dog), and I love fries, and I love Venice, and I love Ravel, and I love your ass, and I love you, and I love to believe it. When you talk about love it does not necessarily mean to love your wife or her husband but to love your neighbor that's what love is, I believe in love because I already love wha

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet

Someone asked from the back of the room. “Well, first of all, in a romance novel, there isn’t a sex scene, it’s a love scene. And I like to go into a lot of detail, both physical and emotion wise, because I feel that the intensity of a love scene, it brings out exactly what the characters feel for each other, it shows the depth of their love, helps strengthen a relationship. Basically that’s what love scenes are for, to help the progression of the relationship between the lead characters,” I explained. Got some thoughtful looks and nods of acceptance in return. “Mrs. Akira Whitmore, do you feel that writing a story about oneself is better than writing about an imaginary character?” Another t

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!
