A little girl cuddled the precious book in her tiny hand as she crossed the street with her mother. Her short black hair blew in the breeze and her eyes shone with joy. A big smile plastered her pretty face as she looked up at her mother. "Can we go watch Cinderella tonight mama?" she asked "Yes we can sweetie." her mother replied "Let's get the groceries first then we'll go home and make popcorn." By the time he was done, the kids were satisfied.

I asked. He nodded. “I think so. They just wanted me to read to them, not compute something, so I guess I could do that.” I smiled. “The book’s on the side table. Thank you, Finn.” He waved happily before turning his back on us. “Please tell me it’s a fairy tale book, not the Introduction to Chemistry textbook?” Anya asked me. “I didn’t see any book except that,” Sky chimed in. “Why are you reading that to the kids?” He asked like he was accusing me again of giving my children a hard time.

I sat down next to my mommy and looked towards the book she was reading to them, finding it to have a picture of a bear on the front with letters, but I couldn't read it. The boy started to gnaw on his hands and whimpered before he rolled over onto his tummy and started to crawl away towards a couch and slipped under it.
