Now We Both Look Asian Novels & Stories

All I could see around were twigs, tall trees and mountains. I looked at the female companions. They have one thing in common - good faces and Taiwanese features. You two, I think are a few years younger than me. The other two I think are just my age. I don’t know where we are now or where we will be taken and what will happen. But I'm sure it won't be good. I looked around and saw that we were not the only ones in that situation. Following us are two more carraiges. I looked at the man who was running then and was surprised to notice his dress. A traditional Khaki jacket and trousers with a turban in his head.

It’s not the first time someone has asked the same question. “No, Korean.” She looks at me confused. “Oh, my I was never very good at geography. Is that not in China?” I hear Ash make a snorting sound, but he covers it by clearing his throat. “No, it’s not. We are our own country, and we speak a different language as well.” I explain as politely as I can. “I see. Well, I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve met a Korean. You are a very good-looking man! I’m sure all the girls go crazy for you.” She laughs and I follow with one of my own.

Callista didn’t join in, but it was obvious she was trying to hold back her laughter. "She might be his descendant. She looks half-Chinese," another said, and the room burst into another round of laughter. They're right, anyway. I'm half-Chinese and half-American—more like a hybrid. But aside from that, I was way more beautiful than them, especially the one who calls herself Apple. Her eyes were bigger than her whole face, and her teeth jutted out like a rat’s. Fuck! I wish I could tell her how she really looks, but sadly, I can't.

Khalil just mysteriously looked at me making me feel uneasy but jerked suddenly as his assistant coach and best friend, Manuel, placed his hand on his shoulder heavily. "Don't worry, this one will behave," He said, and Khalil rolled his eyes and removed his hands quickly. I pondered on the thought as I bit my lip, a habit I had become used to. Looking back at Khalil, he was still gazing at me, but this time, his eyes were on my lips. I felt hot all of a sudden as I looked away entirely. "Sure." They all jumped apart from him, shaking their hands in victory and it made me laugh within. Was Naza that mean?

“I just learned that we really have the same taste and preference.Your ex is an Asian, right and now your new boyfriend is an Asian as well. Is it safe to say that we both preferred Asian men over our natives?” “So, your boyfriend is an Asian? Is he staying here?” Sue inquired. It hadn't sank in yet as she was not really listening to her blabbering. But upon hearing the words, ‘Asian’ and ‘boyfriend’ her chest suddenly thumped wildly as she had a bad feeling about it. Meanwhile, Leila’s eyes sparkled in delight. Her face became rosy and her lips stretched so wide that it almost ripped her face in half for smiling so widely.

I know I saved him, I knew he was okay before I closed my eyes. I looked around and observed the room, the three men in front of me were looking at me with blank expressions. One of the guys had straight, black, slicked-back hair. He looks like a gangster; he may be one of Archer’s men. One of the other men beside him looks like a pure Asian because of his narrow eyes and undercut black hair, while the other one had clean-cut hair, he looks half-Asian and half-American. They all look like half of their daily routine is spent at the gym.

I said with a smile. (Yes, am half-asian) I know I should explain Liam what we are speaking. "Can you explain what are you guys talking about." Liam whispered slowly to me. "He was asking that I was an Asian. I said that am an half-asian." I whispered looking at him. After finishing our food we started discussing our business and I translated it to Liam. He was totally speaking to me since I know the language and fluent in this. Atlast, we signed the deal. They shook hands.

“What if we lose her?” He looked up. And for a terrifying second, Elena saw the fear match her own in his eyes. “I can’t think like that,” he said. “I won’t.” “But what if—” “Elena,” he said sharply. Then softer. “Look at me.” She turned, her whole body trembling. “We’re here. She’s here. That’s all we know. That’s all we fight for.” She nodded, breath shaking. “Okay.” “Okay.” ⸻

“I’m trying to stop people from dying.” She narrowed her eyes. “What do you mean?” “There was another attack. Yesterday. A teenager from the East District. Same symptoms — drained, comatose, rune carved into his shoulder.” He paused. “Same mark that’s on you.” Riley’s heart twisted. “Was he…?” She didn’t finish the question. “Still alive. Barely.” She swallowed. “That mark — it isn’t what you think.” “Then tell me what it is.” She looked away.
