Battle For The Title And Mate

Battle For The Title And Mate

“Julia, nice to meet you too. I have your schedule right here which will be a little different from the one you received. You see one of our nurses called in sick and we would like you to assist with her duties. Am sorry to do this to you on your first day but we are a small clinic with just a few staff members and when one is absent, we struggle.” Julia said looking at me apologetically, I wave it off and smile. “Not a problem, I am happy to assist, what do I have to do?” I ask and her smile widens. “I like you already, nothing much just general nurse duties, the doctor will see the patients and you will do the other duties. You know what nurses do, right?” I know what nurses do, I am a med

She pushed her way in, unbuttoning her coat to reveal a white nurse's outfit underneath. Seeing her beautiful legs in black stockings, my desire surged instantly.

Enemies To Soulmates

She just stood there, arms crossed, looking at me with an expression that clearly said 'absolutely not'. Kelly spoke up from the chair. "Please, Nurse Patterson. Help me get cleaned up so we can get back to the hospital on time." The nurse's expression hardened. "That's not my job," she said flatly. "You have a perfectly capable husband standing right there who can help you. If you wanted a nurse to assist in cleaning you, you should have requested one specifically. My job is to ensure you get back to the hospital in record time. Nothing more." I opened my mouth to argue, but Kelly cut me off.

"Love Blooms Asunder"

"Love Blooms Asunder"

Chapter Eighty-eight [ Despite appearing far apart, the couple is close] Nancy is rushing in the early morning hours to get her personal travel clothes, which she views as a way for the global team to identify themselves as members of the mission group. With her hands grasping the surfaces beneath her bed, the tables, and the cupboard, she planned to remove her patients' ward garments, but she was unable to locate it when the designated staff nurse arrived to see every patient in that ward. One room contains four patients, each with their own bed. A staff nurse grinned and spoke,

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

The Cruel Alpha's Unwanted Bride

A man’s hips shattered after he slipped off the top of his staircase and tumbled down. The chief medical officer was waiting the hallway of the third floor. I waved to catch his attention, his eyes seemed so focused on what was happening in the room. I didn’t know what it was until I got closer, and then I noted that Avery was in the room with the patient. A medic alpha does the healing, and the treating, they diagnose and do so much. But they need nurses for a reason. A blue nurse can do everything a medic alpha can, but the nurse’s healing energy isn’t as strong as a medic alpha. And while I can smell some symptoms, something that might have been overlooked by a machine.

The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.

Here to correct a review I mistakenly left for a different book with a similar premise. As far as THIS novel, the author really does a great job writing in a way that makes you feel like you're there. The FL is pathetic at times, but likeable as hell. The ML though? Pathetic is an understatement lol

Married in Her Name

Married in Her Name

“Role?” Elaine enlarged the column beside the torn name. That part was less damaged, but the ink had bled enough to blur the words. “Private n— something.” “Nurse,” Leah said. The word entered the room and made the air heavier. Private nurse. Not maid. Not companion. Not tutor. Not household employee in the ordinary sense. A nurse would explain recovery. A nurse would explain why the Grants had been able to speak of care with such authority. A nurse could make a locked room sound medical. A nurse could record symptoms, approve quiet, recommend supervision, support the family’s version with professional language.

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

Everyday For The Thief: A Chaotic and Poetic Mafia Romance

The door to the hospital room opened and a nurse walked in, holding a small tray with some food. "Just a small meal, ma'am," the nurse said softly, "to get your strength up. The doctor wants you to eat something light before you get your full dinner." The nurse put the tray on the table and checked Claudine's vitals, a practiced routine that offered a quiet, comforting rhythm. The group's conversation picked up again, hushed and warm, a feeling of camaraderie surrounding them. The nurse, a kind-looking woman with a gentle face, finished her work and smiled at the group. "Your friends are so worried about you, ma'am. It's so nice to see."

I'm giving it a 5 star because I loveeeee the author's writing style. I also love the characters! Especially the Male Lead. He's domineering and hot. Let's not even talk about the suspense. It just keeps you goinggg. Off to read more

Silent Luna: Alpha's Rejected Mate

Silent Luna: Alpha's Rejected Mate

I held up my hands, using my fingers to count out the months. The nurse watched, her eyes widening slightly as she calculated the months. "So, you're about... four months pregnant?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement. How will the nurse's role evolve as my situation develops?

Forbidden Cravings (M&M)

Forbidden Cravings (M&M)

If Nathan were here, he’d be running around, coaxing Evans and trying to distract him from the pain, but since he wasn’t here, Evans braved the pain and endured it till the nurse was done, but at that time, he was sweating really badly, and his hospital shirt was soaked. The nurse looked at his soaked shirt, then frowned, “We can’t let you wear that soaked shirt. How about I clean you up?” She asked, and didn’t even blush. She was a nurse and didn’t really think much about this. To her, Evans is a patient, and her work is to care about him and not let him fall sick again, but if the nurse knew she escaped danger, she’d kneel to thank her Lord.

Delusional Jane

Delusional Jane

But hey, it’s crazy enough that apparently, I was in the future when all I could remember was the past. “I was sent by the doctor to come help you to the bathroom,” the nurse knocked on my door politely before she entered. She was a petite-looking nurse who was humble and obviously loved her job. Trust me, I’d seen nurses who absolutely hated their jobs but this one was different. “Yes, thank you,” I said while she walked up to me and we started the struggle of getting me to stand. It was very hard and my body was really weak. I was shaking like I was going to dismantle like the walls of Jericho.
