Blessed By the Moon Goddess

Blessed By the Moon Goddess

He astral projected to the tree and saw that it had just missed the car. “That was close.” The driver said as he got out. “Come on and help me move it.” He told the others in the vehicle. It was a huge oak that looked like it has stayed up long past its years. The tree was partly hollowed in the middle as several animals scurried from inside it. If they had not made their home in its base it may have stood for another 100 years or more.

Light & Darkness: Book 3

Light & Darkness: Book 3

- he admitted. - I understand.- I said, and suddenly something flashed through my mind.- You're the boy I saw then...- I said, and seeing Oliver's lost gaze, continued.- After first coming to this house, I touched the bark of an old oak that grows right next to the wall separating the forest from the house. When I do something like that, trees or other plants show me what they saw happening around them, in their lifetime.- I explained in more detail.- And the oak showed me your family, you, your sister... I didn't watch it till the end though, since I felt that the oak wanted to show me some bad events, so I didn't immediately associate it all with you.- I added later with a slight guilt wri

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

THE BOY WHO COULD BEAR AN HEIR

His eyes, however, were fixed on the painting that now stood before him. It was massive, nearly taking up the entire length of the studio wall. The piece was bold but warm, a landscape that captured both peace and strength. At the center was a tall oak tree with branches stretching wide, its roots sinking into deep, fertile soil. The sky above shifted from the calm tones of dawn to the bright colors of morning, blending light oranges into soft blues. Beneath the tree, a path curved gently, leading toward a horizon that seemed endless. Lucien stepped closer, brushing away a stray line of dried paint on the corner. He had poured his heart into this one.

It's not slow; I like the transitions, how the characters change and add complexity. I love Lucien; his painful memories make my heart swell; I hate his father. I'm still waiting for new episodes....️...

Hi everyone, I’ve seen a few comments saying the story feels slow or that what’s “supposed” to be happening hasn’t happened yet—even someone mentioned on Facebook that we’re already in Chapter 40 and the main story hasn’t begun. I want you to know that this is intentionally a slow burn story.

His Mate, His Enemy

His Mate, His Enemy

“He hasn’t released me.” “He will.” The certainty in her tone leaves no room for doubt. “What if he never does?” Her head tilts slightly. “He will.” Silence hums between us. “Where?...Where can i find you?” I ask. The clearing shifts. The trees blur and rearrange. The vision expands outward like a map unfurling. I see forest stretching westward denser, darker. A narrow trail barely visible beneath overgrowth. A river cutting through stone. Then a massive oak tree. Its trunk is split clean down the center, blackened along the jagged seam as if lightning once struck it from sky to root. The top half leans precariously but still lives, branches heavy with leaves.

The Marked

The Marked

Those woods became our kingdom. I remember the day Ava decided to teach me how to climb the old oak tree that stood in the center of our usual meeting spot. It was massive, its trunk so wide it would take three of us holding hands to circle it. The bark was rough and gray, covered in places with soft green moss that felt like velvet under our fingers.

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

A SECOND CHANCE FOR BULLIED LUNA

The path twists and turns, leading me deeper into the woods, with moonlight filtering through the leaves above. As I turn a corner, the trees suddenly open up, revealing the clearing. The moonlight floods the area, illuminating it like a silver spotlight. The place is circular, with a few trees scattered around, their branches reaching towards the center. In the middle of the clearing there is a huge oak tree, its trunk twisted with age, its branches stretching towards the sky. And the moonlight creates deep shadows, making the tree look even more impressive and ancient. The air is still in the clearing, as if the forest itself is holding its breath.

Enjoyable read, never once was tempted to skip to the end chapters and read it all the way through. Author has a definite talent despite some grammatical and language errors. Although, the description is a bit misleading as the dialogue snippet never happened in the story.

interesting, some twists and turns that make it atractive enough to want to follow the story. but what i loved the most were the way it made me laugh and the beautiful characters. as i kept reading it i actually could see the plot unfolding. thank you so much!

Taken by the Lycan King

Taken by the Lycan King

This caused my headache to reduce a little and made my journey much more easier. After walking for more than an hour, I decided that it was time for me to find a place to rest. Luckily, I sighted a large tree, one that stood out from the others. It looked not too far from where I was on so I quickened my pace, eager to meet the trees sheltering presence. The closer I got to the tree, the more I realized how true the tree really was. It was an oak tree but the largest I had ever seen. Part of its roots shot out of the ground, twisting and turned as they lined the area around it. From afar, they looked like tiny veins snaking through the earth. It was going to be a great place for me to rest.

Supernatural Academy Series

Supernatural Academy Series

"All right. Go find your tree. You've got forty minutes, so take your time. Be sure and check your textbook if you are unsure which tree you'd like. Or you can walk around, touch a tree, and see if it speaks to you. Many of these trees were planted while the Academy was being built by the founders. So we have everything from Oak and Ash to Apple or Rowan trees." I like the idea of picking a tree that calls to me so instead of opening my textbook, I stroll through the area, randomly placing my hand on the barks of trees. Some send small tingles through my palm, even with my gloves on, but none feel right. Kiarr and Ben hover nearby, but not so close that it feels like they are breathing down

The Plus-Sized Bride No One Wanted: Too Fat to Love

The Plus-Sized Bride No One Wanted: Too Fat to Love

Three hours had passed without me noticing a single minute. I looked down at the open sketchbook. The drawing covered the entire page. The oak tree stood strong in the center, its heavy branches casting long, shaded light across the grass. In the foreground, the small yellow lilies looked almost real, their thin petals catching light made entirely out of unpainted white paper. It was detailed, neat, and sharp.

SOLD TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

SOLD TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

Rowan said, pointing through the trees. Kael rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We stay together." Nobody argued. We followed the sound. The forest changed as we walked. The pines gave way to older trees. Their branches spread so wide that the sunlight barely reached the ground. The air smelled of wildflowers. Then... I saw it. An oak tree. Its trunk split into two before reaching the branches. The same tree from my mother's drawing. "The orchard," Elias whispered. No one moved.
