Make Believe: A New Luna

Make Believe: A New Luna

Titania ignores us, still deep in conversation with one of her courtiers. But I see the glint in her eyes—she knows. King Oberyn clocks us the moment we approach. His eyes narrow. Suspicion radiates from him like heat. “Speak,” he commands, voice gruff. “We were given to believe that the food and drink offered to us were not enchanted,” I say evenly—though my tone leaves no doubt I know we were lied to. Oberyn doesn’t speak. He just nods, slowly. Acknowledging. Maybe even agreeing.

Wicked

Wicked

Morgana commented tartly before spotting Merlia’s odd look, who in turn was talking to Mordred about their magic studies with Anberine. Percival and Gawain who were reading and discussing their books to one another looked up with perplexed expressions. “It is rather strange Bery” Marcus commented as he handed Anberine a bottle of ink for her quill. “Do you think the lake washed off the spell?” Anberine asked, now looking worried thanks to the comments that confirmed her unspoken suspicions. Deep down she hoped that it wasn't true and yet, her gut instincts were telling her otherwise leaving her more troubled.

The Dirty Blood Mate Of The Lycan Alpha

The Dirty Blood Mate Of The Lycan Alpha

Pride tugged at them. Fear followed right behind it. Confusion was tangled somewhere in their thoughts. After all these trials, what next? They had survived the trials... but at what cost? ~~ "Close your eyes," the Oracle commanded. There was no room for hesitation. They obeyed. The darkness around them inhaled and then exhaled a surge of energy that slammed into them with the strike of a collapsing force. Martina's eyes flew open on instinct but the magic was already inside her, pulsing through her veins like burning fire.

A Marriage of Swords

A Marriage of Swords

And there, ahead, where the valley narrowed into the mouth of the pass itself, was a scene of tense stalemate. On one side of a rushing, glacial river, a makeshift camp flew the banners of several eastern lowland lords—a silver gryphon, a green serpent, a black tower. Perhaps two hundred men-at-arms were arrayed in disciplined ranks, their pikes gleaming dully in the overcast light. At their head, on a sleek chestnut horse, was a man in polished half-plate: Lord Gryffen, his face handsome and cruel under a trimmed beard.

Hooked Between the Alpha Twins

Hooked Between the Alpha Twins

Instinctively, my hand rested on the hilt of my sword as I stepped beside him. He picked up the first book on the stack: The Compendium of the First Blood. It was a book so old its pages were made of cured vellum that should have lasted ten thousand years. I watched as he opened it and gasped. Cold rushed through my veins—the book was mutilated. "This is the chapter about the ancient evils," Orion commented as he flipped the pages. It seemed like something, or someone, had reached into the book and torn off the pages with claws. I suppressed the anger bubbling to the surface at such damage done to something so historical.

The Mage's Heart

The Mage's Heart

I saw people on the other side dance back out of the way and registered buildings of stone and wood, and a dirty road, but there were so many people involved in so much activity the detail of their environment was lost to their motion. Rivyn urged the reluctant Coryfe forwards through the opening in the air. There was no screech of wind, no bright flash of light as we stepped through - the difference between a completed spell, and an incomplete one. We rode out onto filthy cobblestones. “The city of Nerith,” he told me, his lips near my ear. “Where my next target is. I am hoping, now that I have read the book, cover to cover, I can exchange it for the opportunity to read a very rare tome tha

A brilliant adult fairy tale! Dark romance, fairies, sirens, mages, dragons, dark elves, mermaids, trolls, imps, spells, and quests. I loved it, an action packed adventure from beginning to end. Folk lore and fae stories truly came alive, I fell in love with the characters and got lost in the story.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

"Maddie, meet Mr. Theon Orben. You two share the same craft, after all." Melvin added with a grin, "Yes, Maddie. Mr. Orben is an eighth-grade divine alchemist and currently the chief alchemist of Sovereign's Apothecary. The Divine Alchemists hold him in high regard." Before Madeline could even bow, Theon waved his hand and chuckled modestly. "Oh, please, you flatter me too much. When Ms. Webster first made her name in the field, I was still a nobody with nothing to show for myself."

Reynir Kjartansson
Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!

BOUND TO THE BLOOD KING

BOUND TO THE BLOOD KING

Matteo Romano. He rose from the shadowed corner, towering, broad-shouldered, his black suit tailored with the precision of a king in exile. His face was carved in lines of command: sharp jaw, straight nose, lips that could give orders like death sentences. But it was his eyes that froze the blood in her veins. obsidian, fathomless and unreadable. Il Re di Ferro. The Blood King. Whispers rippled through the hall like wind through dry leaves. No one expected him here. No one dared to speak his name too loudly.

The Alpha's Cursed vow

The Alpha's Cursed vow

"I don't believe that. I can fix it. I can break it. There has to be a way." "There is," Orion said. "But not by hiding in the woods. Not by hoping visions and blood magic will save you." He reached into the satchel slung across his back and pulled out a small, battered leather book. He held it out to her. She hesitated, then took it. The cover was worn, the pages stained with old ink and ash. Her breath caught when she opened it. It was written in Old Vale script the language of her bloodline. Most of it was indecipherable, the ink faded, but one phrase had been circled in red:
