Bound to the Obsidian Alpha
The Obsidian Pack, the strongest in the region, was crumbling because of the darkness that lived inside me.
Kael held me tightly, his body still joined with mine, his knot locked deep. He had barely slept in days. His arms trembled with exhaustion, but he refused to let go. Every time the entity stirred, he would move inside me, slow and deliberate, trying to strengthen the mate bond and push the darkness back.
But something felt wrong tonight.
The entity had gone too quiet.
I felt a new presence through the bond — not the ancient curse, but a familiar one. Someone inside the pack was feeding it information.
