The Luna Lives Again
Inside the main medical tent, it was chaos.
There were at least twenty soldiers in various states of injury. Some lay on cots, their chests rising weakly. Others sat propped against crates or even the dirt floor, wrapped in blood-soaked bandages. Two healers rushed from patient to patient, their hands glowing faintly with flickering, unstable magic. They looked barely conscious themselves.
"Holy shit," Robbie said beside me.
"The wounds aren't closing," Oliver explained grimly. "The cursed energy laced in the attacks is interfering with the healing process. It's spreading. Our healers are too drained, and at this rate, we'll lose everyone."
