Obsidian Blade Surgery Novels & Stories

BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

All I wanted to do was close my eyes and forget this pain existed. He checked my pulse, my blood pressure, then moved back to look at me. “You’ll need a scan.” I let out a grunt. “I don’t need one.” “Don’t be stubborn, Rossi. I need a CT scan to determine how deep the blade is.” Again, I shook my head. “You can either take this blade out yourself, or I will do it,” I snapped. “Always a gentleman,” he said sarcastically, but I ignored him. He touched around the blade—roughly. The equipment he needed was brought to him.

Gabi commanded. “I… I… want to… talk to… Antony.” She stuttered out before focusing back on the wall instead of Gabi. “Shit. I don’t know how she is doing it. But she is ignoring the command. Levi, use your spiral knife. Left thigh.” Gabi said nodding to me. Sighing, I looked at my bag and pulled out one of my favorite knives. It was a 10’ long spiral Damascus steel blade that could wreak havoc on a body. It hurt like hell going into the body, but hurt a great deal more coming out.

They were the Arch-Logic-Arbiters—the final guardians of the planetary code. “Triage is over,” I whispered, drawing my obsidian blade one last time, the edge now glowing with a steady, iridescent violet light. “It’s time for the surgery.”

The Sovereign State of Xylos didn't use soldiers in the traditional sense. Their "Spectre" units were bio-augmented operatives, fused with neural-link interfaces that allowed them to act as a single, hive-minded tactical entity. They were the physical manifestation of the Xylos Doctrine: total centralized control over every muscle fiber and every bullet. "Seal the blast doors," Elias commanded, her neural disruptor already in hand. "Lena, stay with the core. Julian, if you can’t get that reverse-emitter online in twenty minutes, none of this matters."

Arla-Rosa. Her hands were steady, her face calm, but her gaze sharpened like a blade as she took in the soldier’s condition. One glance told her what the others already feared. The man was dying. His vitals dipped on the monitor, a long, drawn-out beep that sent chills down the spine of every observer. “Prep the hybrid surgical suite,” she said calmly, her voice carrying a certain authority that made even the most seasoned doctors snap to attention. “We’ll need vascular repair, abdominal closure, and spinal stabilization. And I’ll require full acupuncture access along the thoracic meridians.”

She positioned the blade at the top of the marked line. For a heartbeat, she hovered. Then she cut. The skin parted under the steel in a clean, steady line from just below the clavicles down toward the sternum. Blood welled, dark and contained. The cautery hissed as she moved to the deeper layers, smoke curling up in faint, acrid wisps. “Retraction,” she said. “Let’s see what our favorite wolf has been hiding.” Ribs spread under metal hands, opening like the pages of a book that had stayed closed too long.

What a relief. With a steadying breath, I began the familiar, yet suddenly terrifying, dance of a stab wound surgery. My hands, surprisingly calm, moved with a practiced precision I didn't know I possessed. First, I gently explored the wound to check for any deeper damage, making sure there were no hidden perforations to organs like the lungs or heart – a quick but thorough internal check was crucial. Once I was sure of the wound's depth and trajectory, I meticulously cleaned the area again, ensuring every speck of debris was gone. Then came the suturing. Each stitch was placed with care, meticulously closing the layers of muscle and tissue, and finally, the skin. I focused on making sure th

“It’s an obsidian knife, the sharpest knife in the world.” She took back the phone and examined the same image. “Good heavens, you’re right! It’s obsidian— three times sharper than a diamond and 500 to 1,000 times than a surgeon’s steel blade. Scalpels with obsidian blades have a cutting edge of only three nanometers thick and are said to heal with minimal scarring.” “We can only see a bit of it. If this knife is large enough…” I paused. “…it will be the murder weapon. It can cut through bones if its size is perfect,” she finished.
