The Lost Pack

The Lost Pack

His handwriting is barely legible. “Eos,” he says, breath shaking. “Or Aurora, in Roman lore. The Goddess of the Dawn. Daughter of Hyperion and Theia. Sister of Selene, the Moon Goddess, and Helios, the Sun God. She was the bridge between their powers.” Paige goes still. Ronnie continues, his voice hushed and full of awe. “She wasn’t just the bringer of sunrise. She awakened things. She breathed light into what had been lost. She was known for creating an army, not of soldiers she forced, but of souls that recognised her. Souls loyal because she was the dawn that freed them from darkness.”

Loving this book so far! Author, as many have stated in the chapter comments, 291 & 292 are repeat chapters from 283 & 284. Though I do believe they should be at 291/292 (makes more sense) and not 283/284.

The Alpha's Mate (Book 1: Finding His Luna)

The Alpha's Mate (Book 1: Finding His Luna)

Prophecy In the beginning, there was nothing, just chaos. From chaos came the primordial beings. The first primordial being to spring forth from the void of chaos was Gaea, the Earth Mother. Through a virgin birth, her son and eventual husband was born. He was Ouranos, the Sky Father, and their love was such that it would last until the last universe exploded into nothing. Together, they sired the Titans, the Hekatonkheires known as the Hundred-Handed Ones and the Elder Cyclops. Two of the Titans were Hyperion and Theia, who gave birth to Selene, the Moon Goddess and a favourite grandchild of Gaia.

Alpha Zaine’s Rejection

Alpha Zaine’s Rejection

Zaine, George, Luca, Abernathy and Torrin are marginally less taken aback by what I have to say, but still, it’s a lot to take in. By the time I have finished explaining how Sophia’s wolf is actually Alcmene, the mother of Heracles, who was conceived when Zeus came to her bed disguised as her husband, and that Zaine’s wolf is Alcmene’s husband, Amphitryon, there are a lot of puzzled faces in the room.

You Must Love Me, My Little Cupcake

He said so passionately and it only remained a tiny bit for me to swoon over him. "The only adventure I want is to Greece," I said as I continued the talk on History, "So many human generations later, Zeus released Kronos and his brothers from this prison, and made the old Titan king of the Elysian Islands, home of the blessed dead, Kronos was essentially the same as Kronos, the primordial god of time in the Orphic Theogonies. Afterwards the Greek gods and goddesses, or sons and daughters of Kronos, married each other and had kids with each other. Like Zeus' daughter, there was Athena, who grew out of Zeus' head, becoming the brain child."

The Charm Of Darkness

The Charm Of Darkness

It was our second anniversary, a time when things were simpler. — From what I read, the legend is about a king of Ancient Greece, Lycaon, who always killed those who stayed in his palace... one night, Zeus disguised himself as an old man, and asked the king for shelter, who somehow discovered that he was Zeus, so as a form of blasphemy and mockery, he served human flesh to the God of Olympus, who cursed him to become a monster, a wolf.

The Morning Star

The Morning Star

Jason was steering and Jack was lying next to her. "And what's that one?" Claire asked, pointing at three stars in a line. Jason glanced up to recognize the constellation. "That's Orion's belt. Orion was a great hunter hired by a king to kill off the fierce beast terrorizing the king's island. Well the goddess Gaia, who was mother of all animals, was not happy about this. She sent a giant scorpion after Orion. Although he fought hard; his sword was no match for the scorpion. In the end the scorpion ended up sting Orion to death." Jason explained.

Paper Hearts: Clashing of Clans

Paper Hearts: Clashing of Clans

Basil answered. “That’s Aquarius. Do you know about him?” Basil shook his head. “Well Aquarius is Latin for ‘cup bearer’ or ‘water bearer.’ The story of Aquarius in Greek mythology is that there was a beautiful Phrygian boy, Ganymede, who was carried off to Mount Olympus by an eagle and he became the cupbearer to Zeus. And he became the representation of Aquarius. In some stories they say that Zeus himself was the eagle that abducted him to Mount Olympus.” “What’s a…Phrygian?” Basil asked when Jaxsen had finished speaking.

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

I praise her in return, “So here's what the Alpha told me. He wants information on a group called The Feral and the leader of the group. A woman named Cora, who may have magical abilities. He didn’t say she is a witch, but maybe?” “I don’t know about the name Cora, but I think I saw a book in Alpha Bronx’s private library that referenced Agrios. I know it's an old Greek word, hmm let me do a quick internet search,” she flips open her laptop and starts typing. After a moment, she turns the screen toward me, “The word itself means wild or savage, but in Greek mythology, there was a Gigantes created to fight the Olympian gods during the Giant War, named Agrios. He was supposed to replace the Mo

I just finished Book 2 and it was wonderful! So many emotions to work through and so devastated by the death of a beloved character T-T (no direct Spoiler). So excited to read the next book in the Blood River Universe AND Book 3 of Kas and Bronx’s story. <3

I started mindlessly, thinking it was cute. But it turns out to be WAAAAY better than that. The story is well written, the plot is riveting, and the characters are so genuinely full of life, it is a bliss to read through. This masterpiece has everything of a best-seller! ...️

REJECTED MATE

REJECTED MATE

“Can we get on with the training, please?” Ophois laughed. “So proper on the outside, but you have the heart of a huntress.” I squeezed my eyes shut and gave myself a mental kick for not remaining silent. Up until Demeter had mentioned this guy’s name, I’d only ever heard of the major Egyptian gods: Isis, Osiris, Anubis, Ra. Ophois called himself the Opener of the Way, but what if he was really the Egyptian god of mischief? Or discord? Or the anti-cupid who liked to break up fated mates?
