Skeletons in His Closet

Skeletons in His Closet

"I'm a patient who requires in-patient medical treatment. Please leave me alone!" The officer nodded. He opened his laptop and played a video for Zane to watch. It was footage of Zane secretly hiding Bree in the basement! "How dare you falsely accuse me? What solid proof do you have that I was the one who hid her?" Zane's eyes bugged out of their sockets as he defended himself unrelentingly. "The garbage can in the basement contains your bodily fluids, which match the substance found on Bree Polene's body!" the officer replied.

Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

"Big, scary skeleton. Pick on someone with a warranty." He's twenty years old and he's baiting a thing built out of a hundred dead people’s bones into chasing him, and there's no time to be sick about it because I have to get to Leon. The skeleton goes for Dax. Dax is fast, but this thing is twenty feet tall and his reach is too big to outrun. One of its hands comes through the brush and Dax isn't where it lands. Barely. I'm already sliding into the ravine where Leon's crawling backward with a useless crossbow, a deep gash on his arm and a face caught between panic and disbelief.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

THE RELUCTANT GROOM

THE RELUCTANT GROOM

They had only been happy he had left Western Creek before they arrived. Seeing him now, Hank saw the deception of commander Mike, he had never left, he was the devil incarnate, his eyes slugged in their socket as his head was shaved from his body in one swift move. The head fell with a soft thud, Jared pushed the bloody body away. He dragged them all into his carefully dug hidden pit, he had dug it long before they came, shrouding their body and blood away.

A Night at Wildwood

A Night at Wildwood

Old Creek Crossing – Near Dusk Clara hiked back from Hollow Hill with the fire still burning inside her. It hadn’t faded. If anything, it had rooted itself deeper, spreading through her veins like wildfire stitched into bone. Every step she took left a tingling print of heat in the soles of her feet. The forest no longer whispered to her — it watched. Aware. Wary. She stopped at Old Creek Crossing to refill her canteen. The stream there had dried up years ago, but a narrow vein still trickled under the broken bridge. As she leaned down, she caught a reflection beside her own:

The Healer's Bond

The Healer's Bond

Steve said grimly, “Sterling Creek will starve. And death will follow.” They pressed on, moving with purpose until they reached a hidden clearing cloaked in shadows. Sunlight barely filtered through the thick canopy above. There, at the center, stood an impossibly ancient tree—wide, towering, and pulsing with unseen energy. Its bark was dark and cracked like burned skin, and its roots twisted deep into the ground like the fingers of a dying god clutching the earth. At the base of the tree was a horrific sight: a pile of skulls, thirteen in total, stacked in a grotesque pyramid. Emma and Steve recognized them at once.

In Love with a Devil

In Love with a Devil

Mark wondered. ~~~~~~ Lily was working on the computer on her desk when John came to her with a file in his hand. He stood against the desk and put the file on the table. “What’s this?” Lily asked as she picked the file and flipped its pages. “What’s this?” Lily lifted her eyes and looked at John. “It is a place outside the city. In the morning the police were informed about this remote place where an abandoned bungalow is found. Twenty skeletons were recovered from the backyard of this bungalow,” John explained to Lily who was shocked to hear about that.

To the Bone

To the Bone

The candles flickered, casting shadows that reached like arms. Outside, the fog had returned. It crept under the cracks in the Bone House walls, quiet and slow. Underneath their boots, the floorboards trembled. Just once. A heartbeat in the bones. And they all knew: the dreams were only the beginning. Something old had noticed them. And it had started to listen.

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

This black skeleton’s defense was not as great as the skeleton king, so its arm was broken apart right away. Soon, Alex could see the owner of the black arm: it was a black skeleton. Behind this black skeleton were countless skeletons! “My goodness!” Alex was dumbfounded by the sight outside. Under the moonlight, it was a big area of black skeletons. They emerged from the water at the large lake row by row, just like the leaking petroleum. How many of them were here? The room was not big. When Luna and Jasmine heard Alex’s exclamation and the fighting sound earlier, they hurriedly looked over there.

I would love to have a no ending novel. But what we can expect. There will always be an ending. I think there will be a new story that will open on the last chapter whereas turn out to be Alex knows what will happen on his future. I wish the author continue like that… Thanks for this. Worth it…!!!!

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ But I loved it.

Rising from the Ashes

Rising from the Ashes

Aspen ordered, her voice trembling, her eyes hollow and distant. Jackie had no idea what Aspen was up to, but he dared not question her command. With that, he rushed to the car and returned with a thick plastic rod. Grimacing, he jabbed the stick into the disgusting sludge and began prying it apart. Then, the three of them froze as the rod hit something solid. Jackie dug faster, shoving clumps of mud aside until the shape beneath became clear. There, partially buried in the sludge, was a human skeleton. The body was half-decayed, and the bones were stained a sickly brown from the soil. The unmistakable hunch of the spine gave it away.

Very good story and the ending was relatively good since each part of the story give a obvious closure. The audio book is also available the whole story. Other authors should follow this example. There is nothing worse than a forced ending or a cut off story, so this story gets all stars, great job!
