She wanted to get this done quickly so she could spend time with Merrow. Decision made, she nodded, “That would be lovely.” “Lola, you said your name was?” The older woman asked as she poured a cup of tea. “Yes, ma’am.” “Ack, don’t call me ma’am. It makes me feel old. My name is Annwn.” She said as she leaned over, the bracelets on her wrist clanging together as she handed Lola a cup of steaming tea. “Yes, ma- Annwn.” Lola said as she took a sip of the mint tea.

I said. “Maybe her name is Isabella. I only gave her the name Clara when I saw that the poor girl was unable to remember who she was. It was my wife's name, you know. And it's such a pretty name. And my wife was so pretty, the prettiest girl I ever saw. Too bad, she was also so stubborn. She never listened to me…” The old man began rambling, seemingly lost in his thoughts. Jones came over to me and whispered to me, "What do we do now?"

He sat besides me. Ahhh old man you are the wisest. I will prepare your favourite tea later. Mrs. Thomas came from the kitchen and said to the Oldman. She held lsla's hand and sat on my other side. Oh Lola you never change. So Mrs. Thomas was called Lola!! I didn't ask for her name for this while. Shame on me. Yes l you the best. She replied. The old man thanked her and continued to play with the kids.

she said, pushing him away, while Adam laughed at the old lady's antics. I sat on the kitchen island and smiled, waiting patiently for her to begin. "That horrible woman, the one in town, used to be one of my closest friends, Elowen," she said, and then sighed. "Who the hell names their baby that?" she said, and I laughed.

The old woman’s eyes moved slowly across the room until they landed on him then she burst into tears. The hall erupted into confused whispers instantly. “No…” she sobbed weakly. “The Moon Goddess truly brought you back…” Kaelen frowned slightly. Nyra looked confused beside him. The old woman took another shaky step forward before nearly collapsing. The younger wolves steadied her quickly. “Easy, Helena,” Elder Rowan said carefully. Helena. The name triggered vague recognition inside me. Then suddenly I remembered. “She was the former Blackthorne midwife,” one of the warriors whispered nearby.

Aunt Lucia had warned me not to take in any animals by the street; her neighbor had been bitten to death by the snake she took in. I remembered Aunt Lucia's advice and dragged my cousins—who were spectating—into the bakery. The guards from the mayor's residence brought away that madwoman and Evan. It wasn't until later that I learned about her identity—she was the once graceful and elegant Hannah Dixon. I wondered what Evan had done to turn Hannah from a brave and strong werewolf into her current deranged state. Anyway, my words rang true. Those who betrayed true love would lose their beloved forever. Without Evan constantly pestering me, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief. Even the air

said the old man, "called her a Dryad; but that we do not understand. The people who live in Copenhagen have a much better name for her; they call her 'old Granny'—and she it is to whom you are to pay attention. now listen, and look at the beautiful Elderbush. "Just such another large blooming Elder Tree stands near Copenhagen. it grew there in the corner of a little miserable court-yard; and under it sat, of an afternoon, in the most splendid sunshine, two old people; an old, old seaman, and his old, old wife. they had great-grand-children, and were soon to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage; but they could not exactly recall the date: and old Granny sat in the tree, and l

And she had lived here. The elderly woman eventually invited them onto her porch. She spoke willingly. Almost eagerly. Like someone relieved to share old memories. "Rebecca lived with her grandmother." Lena leaned forward. "What was her grandmother's name?" The woman frowned thoughtfully. "I think it was Margaret." "Margaret Mercer?" "No." The answer came quickly. "Margaret Hart." Every person on the porch froze. Sebastian felt his heartbeat slam against his ribs. Hart. Not Mercer. Hart.

the old woman said, then turned around to leave Irene. But suddenly, Irene's hand held hers, causing the woman to turn back and look at Irene. "By the way... what's your name?" Irene asked. "I'm Magdalena," the old woman named Magdalena replied. Irene nodded her head. "I'm Irene," Irene replied. Magdalena smiled, "Well then, rest well, Irene," she replied, and Irene immediately let go of her hand, and the woman went to her previously shown room. Afterwards, Irene closed her room's door and lay down slowly on the bed. Her eyes gazed at the star decorations on the ceiling of the room.

Being the more talkative of the pair, Megan advised the old lady. "Alright." The old lady smiled. She took her phone from the passenger seat. "Can I get your contact information?" Although it sounded like a question, she had already displayed her WhatsApp QR Code for them to scan." They only helped her out as a simple gesture, but seeing the old lady being so proactive, they added her to their contacts. The old lady's WhatsApp username was her real name, Jane Hamilton.
