Olly’ POV Everybody looked very excited after they heard about the long list of games we were playing on camp but they were even more excited about the bonfire we were going to have in the night. It was almost like that was all they came here to do. We were split into groups, each group comprising of two girls and two boys. Each group was made to go hunting around the woods and bring back the materials assigned to them. My group members were Piper, Henry and Jasper and they were all my classmates from grade school so it was really easy for all of us to get along.

Olivia, on the other hand, had ventured off to make friends of her own. Due to his heroic actions earlier in the day, the other campers were exceptionally nice to Alexander. Elsewhere, children entertained themselves with stories and playful antics, their imaginations running wild. "Have you heard? String lights in the shapes of stars and moons were hung across the canopy. Everything was extremely beautiful. It was the camping trip she longed for. She would feast on barbecue in the dark outdoors as she watched stars falling from the sky. He never forgot about it.

I headed to the kitchen for water when Olive walked in. “Are you not happy about the campout? You didn’t sound excited back there.” “Oh… I just… I haven’t had a real campout,” I confessed.
