Olivia's Little Silver Novels & Stories

For the first time, I am passing through the streets of Silverwoods. I could see that the pack was not heavily populated but there seemed to be quite a number of people living here. The clean streets mostly had mansions and semi detached houses. Many kids cycled to school and shops, stalls and malls were just opening. It gave me the feel of a small busy town. Way less buzzier than new York city by far but still busy, in its simpler way. ‘Annie!’ Grandma’s worried tone rang out and I looked up to see that we were parked in the school parking lot.

"Oh, and don't bother waiting for the guard to come back. Raphael is... indisposed. It turns out, serving two masters is a very dangerous occupation." The door slams shut, the bolt sliding home with a finality that echoes like a gunshot. Olivia is plunged back into the humming silence. She looks at the security camera…it’s still dark. She looks at the ventilation duct…it’s silent. She is truly alone. Then, from the corner of her eye, she sees something move. Under the plastic tray, tucked beneath the edge of the bread she was told not to touch, a small, silver glint catches the flickering light.

The marking was complete, the oaths were sworn, and the moon was our witness. Adrian turned us toward the pack, raising our joined hands high into the air. "The Luna of Silver Fang!" he roared. The forest erupted. Thousands of wolves shifted in a single, fluid motion, their silver and gray furs reflecting the moonlight as they threw their heads back and howled. The sound was ancient and powerful, a song of loyalty and celebration that shook the very ground beneath our feet.

I asked. “Then you would have died,” she said nonchalantly. I breathed out heavily, then I threw the knives at her, but she caught them, chuckling. “What a fiery little princess today,” she said. I growled, running to her, but Silver dragged me back with my arm. “Guys, stop it; we need to save Asher, so let’s get serious," he said. I faced him after giving Octavia the later look. “So, Ophelia is a witch, but what type of powers did she have? She said she gave Lillian half her powers, right? So that means Lillian has the powers she had,” Silver said.

The book was flat, with only a few pages, and that intrigued me even more. I opened the first page and began to read; “The Silver Bloods are a rare breed of werewolves, descended from the moon goddess herself. It is a line of only female wolves. Not that males are born from these females, but they never seem to inherit the qualities of their mother.” Interesting. There were special wolves out there that were more powerful than the norm. I turned a few more pages and stopped; “Characteristics: They appear fairly normal in their human form, except for their silver hair.”

Silver instead smiled slightly, although his eyes were dark. "I really wonder what I did to make him treat me that way," he spoke slowly. Ofelia snorted crossing her arms in front of her chest. -May I have to say it- he narrowed his eyes- Look nothing else, you don't even say good morning- Silver raised an eyebrow. -I do not think that someone who puts glass in the food of others without thinking about the consequences is entitled to my good morning, especially when they are not- the tone of the omega changed to drier.

I lost my sense of thoughts, staring at her as I took her soft hand for a handshake. This time, Gloria had stretched out her hair, perfectly. I didn't realize how long her back length hair was, until now. The smokey eye shadow was in sync with the silver knee length gown Olivia was wearing. The lacey long sleeves covered her arms but still failed to hide her glow. Brown skin under silver lace was a rare sight. There was a long opening at the front of her gown, down to the first few inches of her tummy. Olivia's wide cleavage was inviting. The only jewelry she was putting on, was a silver chained choker. I had personally ordered Gloria to get that .
