Jacob gestured for us to go first and stepped aside. My eyes widened as I beheld a fountain positioned in the center of the vast foyer, natural light streaming from the ceiling and illuminating it from above. The fountain was enormous and truly remarkable! I had never encountered such a detailed and beautiful fountain before. The statues and orb were meticulously carved from the finest white marble, with shimmering golden flecks adorning the surface. I stepped forward, drawn to admire it up close, eager to touch the smooth marble with my fingertips. My gaze settled on the centerpiece—a woman perched on a platform, encircled by four Lycan wolves.

"And bring up the structural schematics for the High Spires Central Coliseum." Minutes later, Agnes stood before a massive, floating holographic tactical table in the center of the citadel’s command hub. The blue light cast sharp, angular shadows across her pale face, reflecting off the uncut silver moonstone of her fate-ring. ADRIANA “You’ve lost your mind.” I said, glaring at his seated form. He looked high and mighty. And so relaxed, like he isn’t intruding in my personal space. He doesn’t look like someone that has been told to get the hell out about a million times. Instead, he resembles a king on his throne. “I’m glad you recognise who I am.” He boasts, his smile now turning into a full grin. “And I’ve got a throne right beside me for you, my queen.”

But this time there are no reflections. No Victor. No boy with the red balloon. Only the heart. Beating slow. Patient. Waiting. And on the child-sized throne: a single red dress, laid out like an offering. The heart echoes with Isla’s tone blended with each voice the city has ever claimed: “The queen has returned home.” Isla grips my hand tightly. I push back. We advance as one. The family comes next. One circle. One heartbeat. We step over the doorstep.

"If we do that and we decided to be together, we are making a great mistake. The moon goddess will punish and curse us. Then, the whole wolves will be our enemies." "I don't care! We can do anything as long as we're together, Oakley. I have the power and you are the highest ambassador. We can do it!" Queen Marleigh exclaimed. "Kimia, please," he uttered. The highness started crying, making him guilty. He knew that he already took her heart and he feels bad about it. "I'm sorry, Kim," he whispered. "No, Oakley. Please, no," the majesty begged. He shook his head and turned around. He took some big steps and exited her room through their secret passage. Oakley run back to the Havoc Moon in his

The silence between them was deafening, but Nya didn’t want to be the first to speak. She wanted Slate to say something first, to tell her that she was right to be upset, that she was right to feel tricked into coming there, not realizing that he intended to keep her in his mountain kingdom until he was able to get the Heart of Magic back from the king who had stolen it from him. But Slate wasn’t talking either, so the two of them sat there, awkwardly, not looking at one another, until Nya could hardly stand it anymore.
