“Now come. If we’re going to support this relationship, we’re doing it properly. As a family.” They arrive at Blackwood Technologies at twelve forty-five. Camille Brooks rushes them with cameras. “Mrs. Blackwood! Are you here to support your son or Richard Vaughn’s motion?” Evelyn stops. Looks directly at the camera. “I’m here to support my son and the woman he loves. Anyone who has a problem with that can direct their concerns to me personally.” She continues walking. Regal. Unbothered. Camille’s jaw drops. Inside, they’re directed to the executive waiting area.

For that reason alone, Evan wasn’t too worried about it. “Enjoy your vacation with Whitney, Bogard. I’m pretty sure we’ve got everything under control for two weeks.” Evan unlocked the door to his black 2018 Subaru Outback and turned to face Hollis with a short sigh. “These next few months might seem a little rough while nothings set in stone yet. Let me know if you need anything, ok? I’m invested in your success, and you know I’ll drop whatever I have to if you start struggling again.” As much as Hollis wanted to believe this wasn’t about her addiction, she knew it was. Evan was there, sitting in Dalton’s hospital room among her closest friends and family. He read her his letter, and embrac

“Brother?” Adam asks, a little bit perplexed. “I had no idea that Evan has an brother” and because Alexander Stepanek was someone who avoided standing out at public meetings, not for being shy but for thinking with all his heart that only stupid people display themselves in vai, he chose to let Evan to stay in the foreground, while he was collecting his benefits.

Evan called my name from the front of the class as his eyes were locked on his cellphone, My friend and I paused our conversation to hear whatever gossip he wanted to share, “Why didn’t you tell us your older sister Karisa was married to The Mr Beckham Henderson?” “Huh?” Evan looked up from his phone, his eyes were on me and everyone’s attention was on me, “Inaya, why didn’t you tell us that Professor Marcel and Mr Beckham are the same person?”

Evan looked down at the hole in his chest and chuckled. He looked over at Theo. “Don’t think that just because we are dying you get off scot-free. Theo knows everything about the humans.” Evan turned to me, and for the first time since he had come into the office. “We underestimated you.” He chuckled again, and blood poured from his lips. “I left everything in my safe at home.” He turned to Rowan. “I regret it.” He struggled for a breath and looked back at me. “Do you think she will forgive me?” The two men dropped before I could answer. Ronnie snorted. “Did he really ask if the Goddess would forgive him as he died?”

Arthur burst out, his voice rising. Kane glanced at him, surprised by the intensity. "What's wrong with you?" Arthur hesitated before speaking in a low tone. "I think Evan's people are behind it." Evan was in prison thanks to Everley, but his company was still running under appointed managers. It wasn't impossible that, out of spite, he'd ordered his men to cause the crash. Kane's eyes darkened. "If it's really Evan's people, then deal with them. Don't hold back."

I moved over to the fridge to get a drink for myself as I watched the news. "Breaking News: The CEO of Owen Group, Mr. Kennedy Owen, has cleared the air on one of their hotel guests who was drugged and set up. Owen Group has compensated the young lady named Eva Brooks with the whopping sum of 10 million and also promised the public that such an act will not happen again," the female broadcaster on the television screen in my room announced, and my brows furrowed.

“That’s Jeremy Evans.” Luke came in then with all sorts of snacks, a jar of cookies and a pack of beer. “You know my father?” he asked as he set everything down on the table. My eyes widened. No freaking way was Jeremy Evans, the most famous artists in all of Utah and beyond, Luke Evan’s father. How did I not know that? “I believe everyone in Utah knows your dad. He’s the freaking greatest!” He popped open a can and sipped it. “Nice.” He set the can down and clapped his hands together. “Ready for a match? COD or…”

Evelyn turned to see the cutie she had helped earlier . "Yes, you may." Evelyn stretched her hand signifying giving him the permission to talk, "My name is Tyler Wart, and the Luna saved me from being bullied by Beverly while she was passing the pack lounge this morning." he said with a cold gaze on Beverly 'hmph guess he is not as spineless as you thought' a voice said in Evelyn's head. "You are clearly lying since you are an omega who knows if she paid you to say this or threatened you since you can't fight back" Isaac said once again.

“I respect this woman. She’s had to live a terrible life, all because of him. I’ll never let her go, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think she deserves better. She deserves a lot better.” “So you’re going to kill this guy?” “No.” I hit the gas and pulled onto the road. “Just make him shit his pants a bit.” Evan was a loan officer at a bank. He had a private office in the back of the hallway, which made it the perfect location to catch him off guard. Heath and I sat in the lobby until our names were called, like two regular people looking to get a loan. We moved down the hallway. “What’s the plan?” Heath asked under his breath.
