I at least have the common courtesy to ask if this is going to be announced or if it's going to be hushed up until more appropriate arrangements can be made. Then again if I'm not wanted I can just head right back up to the cabin and-" "Don't bother to finish," Cullen interrupted. "You're such a pain." Keith smiled down at his friend. "Congratulations," he said in the most earnest tone Aislinn had ever heard out of the man.

What was I supposed to reply to this? He shook his head vehemently as he continued in an agitated voice, “I… I can’t do this anymore… I can’t even the breathe the same air as you.” He fished out his phone and dialled a number. “Rosetta, this is Keith. How many members from the Emerald Team are left in L.A?” “Apart from me, there are five of them, Alpha.” Alpha? So Keith was an Alpha. That explained his bossy behaviour. He was probably used to having his orders followed blindly.

The selection ceremony for this year’s omegas was starting. Taking my eyes off the rude ladies, I focused on the lavish carpeted staircase instead. My heart hammered in my chest. It was time. I turned back to the food table and dipped my finger in the liquid chocolate. Taking the finger to my mouth, I tasted the rich chocolate and thoroughly smeared it on my teeth. ‘ You are such a bitch! ’ My wolf Zoey snickered with me. The ladies behind me rushed to get in a single line so the Kings could have a look at them as they passed by.

Keith replied "I am done with this conversation. You should take Tia up on that offer and come meet Veronica. She is a good fuck," I said "I am good," Keith replied "Still waiting for your mate, huh? I asked her. She nodded. “Oh my freaking cow!” I exclaimed. “Mind officially blown!” I needed my hands to describe how I felt, so I let go of her arm, which was already sizzling. I looked at the now messy ligament that was her hand, barely hanging on by some tissue. Placing my hands on my head, I repeated, “My mind has officially been blown!” “Wait, so Keith is a witch, a wizard, a warlock? What exactly do we call him?”

I quickened my pace toward the entrance and immediately walked to the far corner of the ground I stopped there, hiding myself behind the broad physiques of two warriors in front of me, and looked at the platform where Keith was standing with his chosen mate, Naisha Holt, the daughter of the beta Steven Holt of our neighboring pack, the Red River pack. To everyone, Naisha was a perfect Luna for Keith. But to me, she was my hell. Ever since I came to this pack a year ago, Keith had known that I was his mate. He just refused to admit me, a wolf-less Omega, as his mate and ordered me to hide the secret.

He came out of the shadows, i knew that he was talking about Dante but then I didn't want to let him know what he asked me or it would cause him to panic and try to act on his own. “Yes, I made sure that he won't see her or even come across her.
