(30). When Alpha meets Omega . Chapter 30: the war is over I'm coming, my love . . The White Peak wolves are shellshocked when they hear howls that don’t belong to them and are floored when wolves barrel into the heart of their pack. Half of the wolves stand there as valley wolves flood the mountain, but are quick to react when they’re knocked down to the snow and attacked.

I want to be the best omega I can be, and when I get my wolf and my mate, if my title changes, I want to be the best I can be then too. My mom always said every wolf matters. Our roles in the pack have meaning, and if they didnt, then they wouldn't exist. Every pack needs an Alpha. Every pack needs a Beta. Every pack needs its warriors and workers. And every pack needs its omegas or caregivers, if you will.

My mother pleaded and I had half a mind to smirk at her tone but I didn’t want to upset her so I didn’t. Instead I nodded my head and even gave a small salute that made her laugh. “I promise mom. Bye.” This time she let me go and I was thankful for that. Being an omega in a pack where omegas where treated like, well for lack of better word, shit, wasn’t the easiest thing in the world. And maybe the Goddess hated me because she just had to make the most stubborn, hard headed girl in the entire pack.

He couldn't just stand to risk the life of his subject all because he could not as their Alpha. "No my lord, do not do this, if you are staying then I'm staying right with you, '' another Omega spoke visibly shaking with fear and anxiety. Even though he was volunteering to stay, he was still very much afraid. Alpha Oswald knew that he was only trying to show concern and he had happened to be a Delta warrior, he would have stood by him to fight the men which was a sign of bravery.

She licked her lips as if remembering the taste of it. Then, she resumed in her monologue, “There’s this funny and ridiculous rumor plaguing the whole South at the very same time Myrri got so nosy. It was said that one unwanted omega wolf would come and bring peace. Halting and stopping everyone from doing the very thing vampires love to do—chaos. And the only thing to know and differentiate her from the others is that she ain’t a future Luna. A onee-ofa kind banished omega.” She clasped her hand and chimed, “And you obviously aren’t a future Luna! Your mate is my handsome and annoying nephew!”

I am super horny I feel like I haven’t eaten in weeks and my eyes glow. So I’m putting it down to finding my mates. Although I haven’t heard of these things happening before. “Pretty okay for a stranger. One of the pack women brought breakfast to me. She didn’t speak much to me, only told me that you wanted to see me this morning.” “Most of the omegas don’t talk much,” I muttered. Her gaze lifted, steady and searching. “What is an Omega?” “They are the lowest group of wolves in our pack but they are equally as important as the rest of the other wolves. They help with the chores and help keep the pack tidy,” I replied. “Hmm, they’re wary of me.” She said as a group of female wolves bowed to me and quickly walked away muttering words about “the strange girl”.

“I don’t know where to start.” Dad sighs again and shakes his head. “Start from explaining what the hell this omega thing is.” I say gently. “In the werewolf world. There’s another type of hierarchy. Same with how with humans there’s hierarchy of class, where some are middle class and some are high class. Well In the werewolf world, an omega is the weakest and least desirable among them. The Alpha is the highest, followed by his Luna, his beta and then gamma. The omega is always last place.”

In his place stood a man who radiated a quiet, terrifyingly formidable power. Oscar hadn't just 'done well'. He had built Wayne Industries, a sustainable timber empire, but in the supernatural world, he was something much more: he was a Natural Alpha. He had gathered the displaced, the rogues, and the ‘unwanted’ wolves and turned these thousand acres of mountain forest into a fortress. If Duncan Alonso was an Alpha of cold steel and glass, Oscar Wayne was an Alpha of deep roots and solid oak. They were equals in power, but worlds apart in soul.
