“You helped the actual bride of the Alpha escape. Why?” The man stood upright and adjusted his clothes like he didn’t hear what I just said. That confirmed my suspicions. I sighed, already feeling the warmth of doom as the other man knocked. “Because you love her? Or she’s your mate?” I asked again. He didn’t spare me a look. There was nothing more left to say or do, because the oak door creaked open, and I was led into the room filled with elderly women and men standing as witnesses to my union with a man who killed my mother.

Kincaid growls as he folds his arms. Gavin smirks. "Oh, she knew who killed them. And man, if I were you, I would be ashamed. Your training must suck. You said they were three of your best, but they were killed by a true omega in human form," Gavin says in a voice so condescending Kincaid immediately snarls. "WHAT," he roars, and Gavin smirks.

“Yes. He died before we could give him care. He was…a victim of the hunt. We were going to help him.” I frown. “Which hunt?” “The one that happened yesterday,” she claims. “The one where you killed almost half of the Omegas.” My heart skips a beat, and I look at the man again. “He was a survivor?” She nods. “He’s gone now, so I guess that doesn’t matter.” The man keeps shooting glares at her, which she still doesn’t acknowledge. She asks me outright, “Are you going to kill us, Alpha Alec?” “That depends,” I reply honestly.

It just was. “And letting someone else see him?” Nelson continued, his voice tightening. “That’s basically delivering him straight to death.” I clenched my jaw. Because he wasn’t wrong. Male omegas don’t survive. They don’t get hidden. They don’t get protected. They get erased the moment their first cry was heard without question. And now… Now one was lying right in front of us. Bleeding. Barely breathing. Bonded to us. I exhaled slowly, dragging a hand through my hair before pushing more of my energy forward, letting it flow into him, trying to stabilize whatever I could.

"You are not letting him hold your hand, you are letting us anchor you so you do not have to carry the weight of this entire slaughter by yourself," Simon interrupts, stepping into our tight circle with a wicked, fierce grin that carries zero humor and maximum lethal intent. "I carried my own corpse off an execution stage three years ago, Ricafort, which taught me that relying on anyone else is a luxury an omega is never allowed to afford," I retort, my voice dropping into a low, venomous hum that vibrates through the tight space.

“I swear to you, I didn’t know they were still operational. They bypassed the usual channels. There was no way for me to know.” Mancini stared at him silently for several long seconds. Then nodded slowly. “I see.” The man visibly relaxed slightly. Big mistake. “In other words,” Mancini said calmly, “you’re useless to me.” The insider’s eyes widened instantly. “Wai…” The sound exploded through the room violently before he could even get the words out of his mouth, as blood splattered across the floor. The man dropped instantly, dead before he even hit the ground. Andressa didn’t move or react. Neither did most of the men in the room.

Once it is open, he scans the room before rushing towards the outside door. When he makes it to the outside, I must switch screens and I lose him for a split second before he reappears and this time, he has someone behind him. I wish I could tell him, but before I know it, he is overtaken and is down on the ground. With him down, I don’t know if he is dead or just unconscious, but either way the man turns around and I see Omega Jonathan staring at the camera.

Darius' POV “The bastard poisoned himself.” Dante sighed, running a hand through his hair. I clenched my teeth and walked toward the man who’d stopped convulsing. Froth clung to his lips, his body unmoving. I kicked him hard. “Hey!” “Darius,” Omarion placed his hand on my shoulder. “He’s dead.” I glared down at the lifeless man. “He’s literally insane. He’d rather die than say anything against the Patriarch.”

Luckily most of the kids weren’t injured badly. As bodies were being pulled out Jake kept watching for any signs of the Omegas that were in there. “We are bringing the last ones out now. They didn’t make it.” He heard someone shout. Jake ran closer to the entrance and watched as the body of 5 of his omegas were pulled out. He stopped one and place his hand over their eyes. “They had no warning, no chance to defend.” He said through tears and gritted teeth.
