She Runs with Wolves

She Runs with Wolves

Scream. “No, not today,” Skye said, speaking over the whistle of the wind. “Why?” “Just wondering,” I muttered. The police tape had drooped even more, and the rain pooled within it. As I watched, it turned to blood, sticky and hot and red and gushing, spilling out of Toby’s neck and churning across the dark ground. I shook myself. It was daytime, Toby was in the hospital, and we were all safe. For now.

Such an exciting read so far! I am enjoying getting to know our main characters and discovering how their lives have come together while trying to anticipate what might happen next as each chapter is released. Having just finished the entirety of The Beta’s Daughter, this author is an amazing writer

A fantastic second novel, with a refreshingly different tone from the previous entry. The mythologies in this are very well developed and I am very excited to see how the story unfolds! The protagonist and her love interest and very engaging too and I am rooting hard for them!

After Divorce, I Became A Hotshot Lawyer

After Divorce, I Became A Hotshot Lawyer

I would have gone downstairs to ask for the maid's assistance if they weren't on their weekend break. “9-1-1, what's your emergency?” “Hi, I have really bad cramps,” I replied, just as I felt something slip out of me, which made my heart pang with fear. Looking in between my legs, I saw blood trickling downward and I yelped. “I-I'm bleeding,” I stuttered out, chills racing down my spine. “Am I dying?” “Please calm down, ma'am. You are not dying,” She replied. “How may I address you?”

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

THE FALLEN ANGEL AND THE VAMPIRE

A severe accident. I walked majestically toward him and squatted by his head... "Next time...know very well...who you are dealing with before you make any move." I nodded as I caught his gaze in mine. He lay helplessly on the floor as his nose bleeds to his mouth to join the blood together, no human would look at his crushed legs without looking away in fear.

Sorry, I Own This Place

Sorry, I Own This Place

Blood spread rapidly beneath him, staining the black roadway a ghastly shade of red. The sedan that hit him careened out of control, slamming into a flowerbed. Its hood crumpled, and white smoke billowed out. I stood frozen, stunned. All around me came screams from the gathering crowd, and the rising wail of approaching sirens. Slowly, I lowered my gaze to my empty hands, staring blankly, unable to move.

Codename: Blackheart

Codename: Blackheart

It’s a reflex to pull out a foreign object, but it’s the opposite of what one should do. With one hand to his neck, he fumbles for the door handle with the other. He finally gets it open and falls out of the car. I place Crimson back in my ankle holster and calmly get out of the car with my duffle bag. I watch as he crawls along the sidewalk, torn between putting pressure on his wound or using both hands to crawl. The panic and energy he’s exerting are causing his heart to pump faster which in turn is causing blood to spurt out quicker. He screams for help, but the sound is strangled. I stand silently by the car watching colour drain from his face. The blood that once provided that colour is

This was my favorite book from this author. It was so entertaining from start to finish, and was incredibly well written. I don't normally read this genre, but knew it would be good, as all her work is amazing. It exceeded my expectations. I am hooked and can't wait for the next book in the series!

My Ex-Girlfriend Is My Half-Brother's Wife

My Ex-Girlfriend Is My Half-Brother's Wife

They're both sitting, just waiting for me. I get in the car and start it. I notice the security guards walking toward the black Subaru. I know they'll follow us. I don't worry about it, just put it in reverse and quickly shift into "D" so we can move forward. We head toward the gates, and when the security guard opens them, my whole body shivers at the sight of the man lying on the sidewalk outside. The streetlight reflects, and I can see stains on his clothes and face. It's blood.

Ever So Sweet

Ever So Sweet

he almost pleaded as he ran to the door. I couldn't hold it anymore. I was losing my consciousness. My whole body was in pain. My hands subconsciously went to my bump, and I heard Zerry's voice from behind. "Oh my god, Bright! He is bleeding!!" she yelled from inside just when Bright was about to carry me out of the apartment. I looked down and saw a single thick line of blood drawn from my shorts down to my toe. It was dripping to the ground drop by drop. The sight made me sick... I was bleeding, and that fact itself scared me to death.

First time reading omegaverse but you've made me want to keep reading! Some grammar editing would help keep things flowing better, but it's a really interesting story and I'm looking forward to reading more :-)

Guardians of the dark world - Deadly desires Book 1

Guardians of the dark world - Deadly desires Book 1

"That was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced." "You’re welcome," I said dryly, wiping my mouth to ensure I had no single blood stain. He was still losing too much blood that he could pass out any time. "Stay here," I said. "I’ll get you something to stop the bleeding." The streets were eerily quiet in the dark evening . Not even a single soul in sight. Long shadows stretched across cracked pavement, and the faint sound of wind whistled through broken windows. I moved quickly, keeping my senses sharp.

Triple Trouble, My fated mates

Triple Trouble, My fated mates

I didn't know when my hands moved on their own and I found myself hugging him. “P-please,” I begged, not sure what I was begging for. Adrian's body stiffened slightly, and he didn't move. Chaos filled everywhere as people screamed and yelled. The teachers had already arrived at the scene and I could hear them giving out instructions to some students. ‘“Call an abundance!” Noah yelled. “Mrs. Smith … this student's pulse is very weak. We have to stop the bleeding before the ambulance reach this place,” He was breathless, and I could hear him breathing heavily.
