Arnold’s POV

“Ughh,” I grunted and slammed the bathroom door in annoyance. I rubbed my cheek where Alicia had slapped me and I closed my eyes and sucked in air through my shivering lips.

Alex had hit me, but it didn’t hurt like Alicia’s slap. It ran straight to my head and then pricked my heart.

“Damn her, how could she,” I growled, kicking the door continuously. Then I paused, opened my eyes as I recalled the shitty things I did to hurt her.

My heart burned with remorse and I grabbed it. “I caused it though– I fucking hurt her. Alex was right.” I balled my fist and stormed up to the front of the mirror in the bathroom.

“I am a mess. I can’t even control my own- fuck. I feel like shit.” I stared at my face in the mirror. I glared at myself and I felt so irritated that I punched the mirror, it shattered and cut my fist, as I dropped it down, blood dropped to the floor.

“I guess whatever Finn called me was right– and I just proved it all.”
