Alexa just graduated from Harvard University with a law degree and a mountain of debt pulling up and after finding out that her father is sick and needs surgery and behind on her half of the rent she decides to go out to a popular club with her roommate to celebrate graduation and to blow off some steam only to be swept away in the middle of the night for a night she would never forget and left with a secret that could potentially change her life for the better or will it?

Mackayla has had a few trials in her life already and moves to Texas to live with her uncle. She finds friendships and falls in love with Blake who has also had some trials. They undergo some more trials both separately and together which scares Mackayla and she runs again but is that the whole story
