One Autumn Leaf の小説・ストーリー

I let it drift away in the wind. The next morning, Johnson received an express parcel at his office in Stewart Group. He opened it. A weightless sheet of paper slipped out. He swept a glance at it, and the next second, his expression changed drastically. His hand trembled as he grabbed his phone and dialed a number. But no one answered.

he said. "Yes, your majesty," said Grump. As they rode Agatha could see the changes in leaves. There were so many shades of colors throughout the trees. Autumn was near. She reached out her hand at the color leaf that was falling before her. She caught one and looked at it. She wonders how such a leaf can have so many colors. "Do you like it?" asked Austin. Agatha nodded. "I can help you gathered as many as you like." "It's okay." "Oh. Why is that?" asked Austin. His face shows disappointment, but his voice sounds as cold as always.

I'd been in a secret relationship with Nathan for six years. He said we couldn't go public because of his career. So we always split the bill, and anniversary gifts never cost more than fifteen dollars. The night before our anniversary, I asked him for the sixth time when he'd come home with me to meet my family. He turned me down again. "Ivy, I just think things are moving a little fast. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, after all." So I went home alone, carrying the expensive cheese and wine he'd bought for my mom. I pushed open the door and found the living room trashed. My stepsister Chloe stood there with a smug grin on her face. "Mrs. Mercer, you owe my family a million dollars. You'v

Moon Chasm, however, still had patchy grass and the odd brown leaf swinging in the breeze. As I watched, one such leaf fell. It twirled to the ground, a ballerina spinning in slow motion, before it fell onto our side of the line and drifted across the snow. Something about the sight of it made me shiver. It looked not like rebirth, as I’d always taken autumn to mean, but like death. ‘You’re so morbid these days,’ complained Tiger. ‘I think I have good reason to be.’ Before she could counter that, I saw him.

CHAPTER 43 Autumn had arrived in Riverside. The trees have turned into a fiery glow of orange, yellows, and reds. It’s Lina’s favorite season and her son, Adam. They would go out in the afternoon and play underneath the maple trees in their backyard. She would pretend to shovel Adam inside a pile of leaves. Her son would growl and try to catch her while she pretended to be afraid. Their peals of laughter would ring the backyard. Later, Rita would call them back for a snack of muffins and warm milk.

I hate days like this. It’s terribly cold outside, and it gets dark much faster. Some people say that autumn is beautiful. Leaves fall from the trees, covering the damp earth with a rainbow quilt. However, for me, autumn is associated with only one thing - death. Plants die, and animals hide in tight corners, peacefully falling asleep. They probably don’t feel like watching everything around them slowly fade away. I envy them, I would like to close my eyes and not have to worry about anything too. Rain runs down my face. Water drips from strands of long blond hair, joining their companions. Together they flow down the paths, washing away all the dirt. Raindrops are never alone, there are bil

There were only a couple of other kids that chose to read over the computers. I browsed the bookshelf searching for a book to read, my step-father set fire to all my books in the wheel barrow when he first moved in with us. I picked a book up from the shelf, my father had bought me it before he died, I was surprised to see it in a school library. The Darkest Minds. I found my way over to a comfy seat in the corner of the room. Fishing out my glasses from my bag I made sure no one was looking before I put them on. "Hey." A boy interupted me three chapters in. "I'm Aaron." Peeking up from behind my book I saw a guy staring at me with a huge grin on his face. I had no idea how long he had been

Once Charlotte was alone, she was able to take in just how quiet and old the little town was. The station itself was set at the edge of town and left a clear view from its front doors down the main street. The town itself was shrouded in a cool mist and the autumn breeze brought the swaying of long, yellow and orange branches. Willows spotted each side of the road just as much as they seemed to blanket the entire outside of the little placeheir long regal curtains now painted in sunset since the cool weather had settled in for the season.

The wind blows is quite different from other seasons leaves fell off the ground some people wearing jackets the trees look like dying but it is just an autumn Mike is sitting alone at the park while his coffee is on his side he planned to travel afar for work seems he want just to skip for this year at this place he feels the wind blows like his last day at this place.

Isobel lay under a tree, staring up through the leaves. It always amazed her that the leave knew to change colour at the right time of year. It didn’t matter if the autumn were wet and cold, or warm and sunny like this one, the leaves always changed with the season, not the temperature. There were a few yellows and oranges in the trees now, but not so many that she needed her brown tunic to blend in. The guard that had brought the ladies down to the river to collect water and do some wash hadn’t even noticed her.
