Well, technically, we had started the whole thing in my own cabin, but we had somehow arrived in his cabin by the end of it, I thought to myself, and a small chuckle escaped my lips as I remembered the frantic, chaotic movement through the hallways.
"How we didn't wake up half the pack is a miracle," I murmured to myself, smiling widely at the memory.
I reached out to grab a small glass cup from the tray on the table. I picked up a dark bottle, uncorked it with my teeth, and filled the cup with a generous shot of raw rum.
"Exactly what I need to clear the frost," I said softly, taking a slow sip.
