Ethan's POV I sensed the longing in her gaze, pleading for more but I refused to yield so easily. I craved to hear her voice, to feel her surrender completely. Chelsea's cries of pleasure echoed in my ears, igniting a primal desire within me unlike my girlfriend who is never satisfied but sweet. I pushed myself into her, slow and deliberate, ensuring every inch penetrated her deeply, reaching depths that ignited a fire within her. She dug her nails into my back, gasping as I filled her completely, our bodies merging in a primal dance of passion and desire.

**Lara's pov** The lower cargo hold of *The Obsidian Fang* was a masterpiece of human and werewolf misery. It was a long, low-ceilinged cavern of damp oak, suffocatingly dark, and packed so tightly with the dregs of the eastern continent that the air had turned into a toxic sludge of old sweat, sour ale, and the sharp, volatile pheromones of three hundred Alpha mercenaries on the absolute brink of starvation. Every time the heavy longship crashed over a massive swell of the Blackwater Sea, the wooden hull would groan like a dying beast, spraying icy salt-water through the seams of the planks to drench the men huddled on the floor.

I try not to make a face as he smears the white excrement onto his jeans. “I have One Call.
