Onyx Edition Risk Novels & Stories

3:10 PM. “Who is Onyx?” I asked. Taren hesitated for a moment. “A lone wolf with a violent record. It attacked handlers. Injured competing wolves. No sponsor is willing to take responsibility. He’s considered unmanageable.” “And they’re killing him,” I said flatly. “Yes.” He answered. I stared at the screen. Something sharp and restless moved through me, the same instinct that always rose when I saw waste disguised as order. “I want to see him,” I said.

Atleast there he will be able to protect himself better if needed. Onyx is restless not being able to see Tessa and felt deflated as he knew Landon was right, they need to be aware of what the wolves plan to do about their presence. They can't risk being ambushed and killed before they could even get close to Tessa to help her.

My voice so low, I know only she could hear it. Rosa’s eyes widen, but I can smell her arousal. The way her body came alive at the thought of being taken right here… in the middle of this busy street. ‘I need to taste her,’ Onyx growls, trying to claw his way to the forefront of my mind. ‘If you don’t get us home within the next few minutes, I’ll drag her into an empty alleyway and show her that we follow through on our threats.’ Fear fills my mind. Onyx can be… untamed. Feral in some ways. He is a beast at heart, but sometimes I find that he lacks humanity entirely.

Anyone who challenges that, challenges Blackfang itself. The pack bowed as one to Ryder’s declaration. Eyrix exhaled shakily. “Thank you.” Ryder stepped closer, lowering his voice. “This doesn’t make you safe.” “I know,” Eyrix said quietly. “It makes me visible.” Ryder nodded. “And visibility draws predators.” Eyrix’s lips curved faintly. “Let them come.” Ryder studied him. The Omega who had once flinched at raised voices now stood with fire coiled calmly beneath his skin.

She asked. "He had been feeding me lies from the beginning," Rory replied, which made Tinsley frown. "What lies?" "I'll tell you when you return from the vacation." She replied and that made Tinsley annoyed. "I swear, if you don't tell me right now, I'll return to the country right away." Tinsley threatened, which made Rory sigh. "Onyx is a leader in the underworld. He's the famous ruthless CLAW known in the underworld. I have always thought that he was a poor person. I..." Rory broke into tears in the privacy of her room.

"You are entirely too accustomed to getting your way, Alpha Okoye." "Only because you enjoy giving it to me, Omega Okoye. Now, put the tablet down before I take it from you." "Is that a threat?" "An promise, Ebu. A verified promise." "You're ridiculous." "I'm devoted. There is a distinction." "The ledger says we are short three crates of lunar-refined alloy at the Ravenfall International Terminal. If Detective Rowan Black decides to audit our territory borders this month, I want our records immaculate." "Let Rowan Black sniff around the edges of Blackthorn City all he wants. He’s a stray dog looking for scraps. He knows better than to bite the hand that controls the Northern Dominion."

I was expecting some mysterious creature to jump out at me every time I went around a bend. Onyx growled in frustration within my mind. She knew we were heading straight into the territory of our enemy and she wanted to go in with claws and teeth rather than with me driving a car. She was going to have to get over her discomfort because I wasn’t willing to risk Elijah’s life by acting so impulsively. ‘At least my plan doesn’t involve us walking into energy territory defenceless,’ she growled even louder.

“We need to head into the forest for a short time.” The man nodded his understanding and looked over at his broad shouldered companion. “We’re free for a few hours,” he noted. “Yeah,” the second man agreed. “No problem.” “Good,” Onyx answered. “Thanks.” With that, he opened the door and walked out. I hurried after him nervously and the two others followed close behind me. I didn’t feel any sense of danger from them, but I wasn’t going to take any unnecessary risks. Onyx had given anyone in the pack permission to kill me if I got out of line. I had no way of knowing how trigger happy they might be.

I rub circles on his back and try to comfort him as much as possible. “Rasheed, Onyx is shifting.” I mind link him. “I’m on my way, isn’t it too early for him to shift? Werewolves shift at night G, are you sure?” Rasheed mind links back. “Normally, but Onyx is also Fae, and Demon. That could be affecting him.” “MOMMMMM” Onyx screams. “It’s okay Onyx, mom is here. I am not leaving your side. I will be right here with you all the way, try not to fight it my boy. You are strong, you are an Alpha, a royal, you are going to get through this.”

he states as we walk into the pack house and head to his office. "i know dad but what does that have to do with her being my mate?" 'ya i agree i dont understand what that has to do with the attack" onyx says "well with you being her mate it could maybe put our pack in danger....but our pack is one of the biggest in the country so im not concerned with us losing alot of pack members but it could make things very hard for us"
