Someone replied. “Apparently, Chad is going to gather up a few others to beat the shit out of the Omega bitch.” The first voice spoke. I didn’t need to know that they were talking about me, I was the only Omega of the pack. I listened in closely to try to hear what they were saying. Even without my wolf, I still had excellent hearing. I couldn’t recognize the voices, but they both sounded female. Chad was the Alpha’s son and if he was trying to gather others to get to me, it wouldn’t be difficult. He was a bit of an asshole, but everyone looked up to him and doted on him. He was the future Alpha, so everyone would do what he asked.

Onyx called her when he sensed that their call alone wasn’t helping the wolves. “How far can you go with your strength as a healer?” Onyx asked her calmly. She narrowed her eyes in confusion, but slowly her expression straightened. “You…. You want to channel my strength as a healer to all of them?” she asked calmly, still working on Madeline, as Madeline was still critical. She had covered her face with an oxygen mask and started cleaning her blood to wash whatever amount of wolfsbane out of her body. “No, I am going to absorb your strength and then channel it to others through the combined strength of mine and Nick’s.” Onyx explained calmly.

Zayden’s wolf slammed into the rogue hard enough to send him crashing across the dirt before pinning him beneath massive paws. “You’re welcome,” Zayden linked smugly. “You couldn’t resist showing off.” “Somebody has to carry this family.” Nyx snorted loudly. “Honestly he might have a point.” Traitor. The rogue struggled violently beneath Onyx while snapping his jaws repeatedly. “Ryker,” Zayden barked through the link. “Silver chains. Now.”

Chris spun around as if he were looking for something or someone. “You can come out now,” he shouted, “I’m sure you all got a great fucking laugh from trying to fool the famously gullible Christopher Red.” James blew out a heavy breath before the sound of snapping and rearranging bones echoed through the dense forest. Where a man once stood was replaced by the magnificent beast that is Onyx. His deep, almost black fur shined under the rays of sunlight, showing off their lighter brown tips.

A minute or so later, he finally nodded, but she didn’t release him. Onyx inhaled deeply, preparing himself to go back to a time that he hated—preparing himself to reveal something that might make his job to earn a place in her life even harder. “I wasn’t born in the Dawn Pack. My family is originally from a pack in Manhattan. They don’t have a plot of land; they purchased an apartment block that’s near a wooded area. The entire pack lives inside the block, and they use the wooded area to run in. One day, I was walking with my sister through the woods when we came across four human males. Their ages ranged from seventeen to twenty-one.”

Xenia proceeded, then she faced the bars, and with a flash of her eyes, the iron doors blast opened and Onyx didn't waste any time and scampered down the foyer of the pack vaults, passing cell after cell filled with prisoners that unfurled their hands towards her for help, finally, she arrived at her destination and hastily broke into the cell. "Roxanne!" Onyx blat, rushing toward the mindless form of the three girls shackled and back rested against the wall. She hunched and placed her fingers on Roxanne's neck, feeling her throb but the she-wolf stirred awake and eyed aghast at the Omega.

The silver and the wolfsbane stopped him from shifting completely, but frequent half-shifting tore up all other clothes. Mother looked at me with a troubled gaze. Sheryl was a minor. Forget about telling her about mate bonds; if Onyx tries to have s*x with her, it would be a grave sin, and he could be punished for ra*ing a minor. “I know what I am doing, Luna. I could feel that the effect of his rut has started fading by now. He was lucky if it stops by now, only in three days.

He looks at himself and at first he noticed nothing different and look closer untill he sees the gold in his eyes. 'Onyx what is this?' Landon asks in shock. ' I don't know, alot has changed but I don't know what Landon and it kind of bothers me' Onyx says not very happy. He pulls of his shirt and immediately sees the mark on his neck and he looks closer. The outline of two cats with their head against each other and wings on each side and it has a soft golden glow to it. "WHAT THE ACTUAL F&@#!" He shouts and rushes out to Jarek.

“I don’t believe there’s a traitor in my pack. I’ll help you only to prove that.” Her eyes flared. “Deal, girl. If you help us, I won’t touch the rest of the pack. Now we’ll take you back to the city. You’ll tell everyone you remember nothing. Then one of ours will contact you about the next meeting.” I was about to say I agreed when noise exploded at the entrance. Two terrified men burst inside and slammed the door shut behind them. “What is it, Nick?” Oksana jumped to her feet. “The wolves are already here.”
