“No,” I told myself loudly, gulping down my panic. “It’s too early for the judgment.” But my curiosity reached greater heights when I stared at it. It’s calling to me to read it, to at least have a glimpse of it. A wishful smile appeared on my face. I did not move for a moment. Then, I picked up the letter in a second. I did not stir. I just weighed the red letter between my fingers. And then slowly, so slowly, I opened the letter, careful not to rip it apart. As an Omega, I’ve learned how to open letters as if I’ve never opened them at all.

Without hesitation, I open my notifications. Run.

He laughs, and it's kind of nice. "So, what do we do first?" He rolls his eyes and dips his hand into the bag, bringing out a letter and putting it face down on the board. "I know that was just a test so see if I really knew what to do." Mika shrugs. "You caught me." She also dips her hand into the velvety bag and draws a letter. "Open." He turns his up and it's an E. She turns hers up and it's an S.

Alexandro held her hand firmly and in one swift move, he pulled her closer and snatched the letters from her other hand. Alexandro turned to me and said. “I can open it and check myself but I want the answer from you. What’s in this?”

"Open wide." Kill me.

The letter in my hands. I started to read.

“Alpha Kade is here. He demands to see you.” I froze completely. I looked up and met Alex’s gaze. He had been carefully peeling an apple for me, something he did often. “Lila,” he said nervously. “Do you want to see him?” “No,” I said calmly. “Keep peeling.” The tension melted from his eyes instantly. He bowed his head, back to being my loyal wolf. I smiled. Sometimes, being with Alex felt like taming a giant, devoted dog. But then the estate’s alarm system screamed to life.
