It was a damn good one because she believed it.

I could hear mom and dad talking outside the walls it was muffled but I could hear them. “Mom, Dad” I yelled. Ouch that hurt my ears. They were very sensitive. It must be my wolfs hearing. “Jacob, it's dad. Mom is with Penny, how are you feeling?” “I hurt everywhere, it’s too bright, you’re too loud and my body hurts all over, dad what’s going on?” I was confused.

“I heard you were back. Thought I’d see if the rumors were true.” “What rumors?”
