I gasped at him “y-you’re dead.” I tried to shake him from my mind. I was going crazy; seeing things. Orlando was not here. Orlando had no eyes. His neck began to bleed, and his rainbow eyes snapped to a piercing red. They began to drip blood onto his glistening white fur, smothering it as it cascaded downwards. No, no, no, no; this wasn’t right. Something was going on here. Orlando was dead! “You” Orlando snarled, blood pouring from his mouth and eyes “you killed me.”

We knew of Coral and Ramona and still, we were defenseless against them. “Prepare for what I have no idea of,” I asked frantically. She looked at me, nodding to herself. Then she lifted her hand and magically, a book appeared in her hands. I gasped and my heart skipped a beat when I realized that it was the oracle book. Before I could wrap my head around why the book Coral had burnt in front of me was in her hands, she glowed even more, her eyes shining as she brought out a knife. She dropped the book and then held the knife against her other palm, cutting her hand and the blood flowed into a silver cup I hadn’t noticed.

“The entire Council deserves to be slaughtered, or at least banished to Noirvald.” While Orin didn’t disagree, it wasn’t the time for that. “Let’s find North.
