Amid the laughter and play, a sudden splash of juice caught Sophia by surprise. She felt a cold, sticky sensation on her clothes as the juice splattered across her. The children around her gasped and then erupted into giggles, realizing what had happened. Sophia looked down at her now-damp shirt and jeans, her own laughter joining in with the children's. "Well, it seems I got caught in the crossfire," she said with a playful smile. The child responsible for the splash, a young boy with mischievous eyes, grinned sheepishly. "I'm sorry, Luna. I didn't mean to."

The twists she had her hair in laid around her, the gold studs she wore in her ears hiding behind them ever so often. "What do you want to drink?" she asked breaking my trance and I smiled lifting my fork. "I'm not sure," I replied and she moved over to the fridge gracefully, pulling it open. "I've got orange juice, grape juice, kool-aid, cranbe-" "What flavour kool-aid?" "Sharkleberry," she announced looking back at me, the small action creating a flutter in my stomach. "I'll take the kool-aid," I replied and she removed the jug grabbing a glass pouring some before handing it to me.

With every movement forwards, they tried to tear me open. If I could reach the others, I could stop Eagle. Stripes easily caught up to me, walking over me to get to Orlando. I could only watch as he yanked Eagle out of the way of Orlando’s gaping mouth, then used it to launch himself onto Orlando’s face. Stripes tried stabbing at his eyes, while Orlando tried to shake him lose. With the knifes embedded, he flipped over onto his head; stabbing his neck instead. Orlando was right there. If I could just reach out and help him….

*stab* Olivia said with a smirk, joining in the guards' laughter with a small and captivating chuckle. Cunningly seizing the moment of their carelessness, she bent her leg to grab a sword from her back using her big toe, thumb, and index finger. Herman and Kartika are trying to vanish those projectiles by hitting them with fire nails and blue beams while Varz swiftly slashes them up, yet their numbers appear to keep increasing.

"That's what I heard." "Wow..." exclaimed Maicy, yet again sucking on a Cherry flavoured lolipop. By now, you must have all guessed what the rainbow squad were doing, sucking on lollipops just because they matched their hair colour. They always had one in hand, despite the fact that the said flavours weren't really their favourite, just to keep up the fairy disguise. Soralina slowly lifted her own strawberry flavoured one to her mouth, leaving it just like that and not even sucking. Jennet scoffed, her black current lollipop in her hand. "Your sister really is a Goddess here isn't she?"

He carried the weight of the world on his shoulders alone. Shaking his head, Sloan hunted in the fruit until he found a busted watermelon. One side was rotten, but the other side was perfect for making a bowl. After he broke the rind, he dug out the center and then washed his new container. Smiling, he decided all his work in the coffee shop was finally worth something. This might be the grossest smoothie ever, but it was food, and it was liquid. Sloan began to squeeze oranges into his rind bowl. After chewing apples, he spat the pulp into the makeshift container. He worked to find anything in the pile that was soft or liquid, and that was still in good condition.

"Hey kid, teach me how to do that!" She stopped mixing but didn't turn around to face me right away. "Aunty Roxy, I heard the others say you're really good at fighting." The smile she turned on me was not the smile of an eight-year-old; there was something ancient behind her eyes. "I'll teach you how to do this if you teach me how to fight. "I swallowed hard and nodded as I wondered just what the hell I was getting myself into.
