Kael strolled right in, dragging a chair to settle right in front of the guy like I had done with Calen except beside him was a bag full of different kinds of torturing tools.
“So we’ll cut to the chase,” Kael said, his tone flat and dangerous. “Who do you work for?”
The man smiled slowly. “You already know. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have found me.”
Kael cracked his head slightly to the side and leaned back into his chair. “The Order,” he said flatly.
“Bingo.”
“What was the point of the operation of the bar?”
The man clicked his tongue, lips stretching wider. “Now, now, Alpha Veyrith. Don’t you already know that?”
