The dragon immediately became very still as Azians hand touched its bony face, "Orion can't breathe fire like other dragons, even though he does release substantial amounts of heatwaves,” he said quietly, golden eyes focusing on the texture beneath his palm.

Bones popping and elongating as his skin started to take on that luminescent glow that reminded me of an opal. Where once a man had stood, a great dragon now crouched in his place. It lifted its shoulders, its eyes slowly opening. Faint amethyst orbs peered at me. I pulled my shirt off, watching as he ran towards the edge of the cliff. Throwing his great body over the side before his wings started to beat, catching the wind, he soared down. I tossed my clothing onto the ground, my dragon was ready and my shift was quick. Soon, I was joining my mate. The moon peeked out to join us in our playful flight.

Alicia decided she had to see if he was still conscious before determining if she could help him or not. One quiet step at a time, Alicia came upon the dragon. He was blue, purple, and green and his skin shone in the sunlight like oil. Being a girl who knew no fear, she carefully reached a hand out to touch him. Her dragon had always been very protective of me, even if I was considered a mistake. "He is an alpha; it is very well it could have happened. Adam is strong." Heat filled the room; my mother's dragon was coming forth. She was strong, maybe stronger than her Alpha mate. She was an orphan, and no one knew the true origin of her parents. Mother kept that part secret; she didn't want to cause rumors or doubt in her mate's tribe.

With its fur lit in orange ambers, the persistent flame continued to dig until it howled in pain and the scent of burnt hair followed the dog. He released flame to destroy the bustard and for some reason the dragon joined voluntarily burning it, to a crisp. The dog might have ruined a moment or worse severed the growing attraction which could be a twisted form of beastiality, right? It is a shifter there must be a human in there, at least he hopes. ‘’I have to go.’’

He was the deepest thinker of all, so it is natural that he never misses a point. “You are right, Dad C. The first type of dragons who produce their own power are known as ‘Imperial Dragons’. They mostly use their spirit animal’s energy which is the hardest to harness,” I answered patiently but was interrupted by Dad Valen. “Xador ?! Is he one of them ?” he asked.

"So have I. The oldest records say that before the world took shape, humanity did not yet exist. The first beings to emerge from the forces of creation were three ancient races: dragon, phoenix, and chimera. "Human ancestors descended from primates and lived under the rule of those three races. They resisted. During that struggle, they seized the three races' cosmic energy. "Through that theft, they developed intelligence, grew stronger, and eventually overpowered all three. They imprisoned the races and put them to use. The Draconox Order of the northern regions holds the dragons. Dragon Abyss is their prison. "But power taken without rightful claim leaves a wound behind, and a generational
